Good morning and welcome to Kid News.
I'm Kim.
Today is Wednesday, March 4th, 2026.
And we begin with history on the move.
For the first time ever, priceless documents tied to the founding of the United States are out of their lock and key vault in Washington DC and beginning their journey to museums all across the country.
They're traveling first class on the Boeing 737 Freedom plane as part of the run-up to the nation's 250th birthday party on July 4th.
According to ABC News, the records include a rare engraving of the Declaration of Independence, the oaths of allegiance signed in 1778 by George Washington, Alexander Hamilton and other officers of the Continental Army, and a draft copy of the US
Constitution that includes handwritten notes by the delegates.
The first stop is at the National World War I Museum and Memorial in Kansas City, Missouri.

Generation Z is not getting enough Zs.
Doctors recommend 8 to 10 hours of shut-eye a night, but a new study finds 77 of high school kids are sleeping less than that, sometimes a lot less.
And for once, screen time isn't the main culprit.
According to research in JAMA, long school days, extracurricular activities and busy social lives also factor in.
And there's biology at play.
Teens don't start producing the hormone melatonin until around 11 pm, making sleep before then pretty challenging.
Doctors say the resulting shortage of shut-eye is feeding into the mental health struggles of today's kids and an obvious fix is a later school bell.
This is all about the biological necessity of a teenager, Dr. Courtney Bancroft told the Post.
Even the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that middle and high schools start no earlier than 830 am.
A star of the NFL combine is proudly showcasing his stutter.
Over the weekend, social media trolls criticized former Texas AM receiver Casey Concepcion for his speaking style.
His response, I'm good, and so is everyone else going through the same thing.
There's nothing wrong with us, he posted on Instagram.
I have had this stutter since I remember talking.
This is a part of me.
This is who I am.
Don't let an outside person's thoughts opinions, get in the way of you being great, of you achieving something in life.
I am blessed to be in the position that I'm in and I want to help give back to those who are scared to speak up, who aren't as confident.
This isn't the first time KC has talked openly about his impediment.
He told the Associated Press in September that he's come to embrace it, and he also spoke about it on Shannon Sharp's podcast in November.
Have you ever dreamed of having your very own dinosaur?
If you have the room and deep pockets, now's your chance.
According to ABC News, Trey the Triceratops is a 17-foot-long, 66-million-year-old skeleton and he's hitting the auction block later this month.
For years, he greeted visitors at the Wyoming Dinosaur Center in Thermopolis.
He's changed hands a few times and for an expected price of 45 to 55 million he's about to again.
Paleontologists hope whoever buys Trey will loan him back to a museum so that he's not lost to science forever.
BK is all in on AI.
The hamburger chain announced that it's adding a digital assistant into employee headsets to, among other things, prompt politeness at the drive-thru.
According to NBC News, the bot will begin listening from the moment customers pull up to place their orders, until the point when their cars drive away.
And we'll key in on whether certain hospitality words are being used like.
You're welcome please, and thank you.
Burger King is piloting the high-tech headset at 500 restaurants in the U.S.
Still to come, Alyssa Liu weighs in on defending her Olympic gold in 2030.
But first, we want to say hello again to Cormac Ennis of Los Angeles.
A few weeks ago we did his birthday shout out, but accidentally used his mom's last name instead of his.
And our shout out went seriously south.
Cormac, we own the mistake and hope you'll still listen in between soccer F1 3D printing and all your travel.
And a quick thank you to some of our generous donors.
Cheryl Ernst of Woodmere, New York.
Andrea Gleason from Walnut Creek, California.
And Sharon Grantham on St.
Simons Island, Georgia.
We couldn't do what we do without you.
Now, today's Kid News quiz.

Now Alyssa Liu, the first American woman to take Olympic figure skating gold in 24 years, told NBC she likes France and is keeping the door open to the 2030 Games which will be held there.
Alyssa is recognized by her striped hair, but even more so by her story.
As we've reported, she quit the sport for two years before deciding to come back on her own terms, making sure she has a say in her clothes, her choreography and her music.
Her newfound freedom has clearly resonated.
All three songs she used Promise by Levee Stateside by Pink Pantheress and, as we reported last week, MacArthur Park by Donna Summer are skyrocketing in streams.
Some fans are videotaping their own comeback stories and setting them to her music.
With one writing, Alyssa Liu is for all the girls who are finding their way back to a childhood passion they grew to resent and left behind.
And now, shout-outs for our Kid News classrooms.
