And we begin with chips getting cheaper, just in time for your Super Bowl spread.
PepsiCo, the maker of brands like Doritos, Lays and Cheetos, says it's cutting the price of its snacks by up to 15 in response to customer complaints that they're too expensive.
We've spent the past year listening closely to consumers and they've told us they're feeling the strain, said PepsiCo CEO Rachel Ferdinando.
According to CNN, the changes will go into effect in the U.S. this week.
In addition to the price cuts, PepsiCo says it's also addressing sluggish sales by releasing new, trendier products, including Doritos with protein, fiber-filled popcorn and Lay's chips made with avocado and olive oils.
She's one lucky penny and talented too.
Penny, the Doberman Pinscher, won Best in Show at the 150th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, with one on-scene dog correspondent describing her as Sinatra-esque cool unflappable, maybe a little ticked off.
In all, more than 3,000 dogs from all 50 states competed, according to USA Today.
The final event was held at Madison Square Garden in New York City Tuesday night and divided breeds into seven groups.
Hound, toy, non-sporting, sporting, herding, working, and terrier.
One winner from each category went on to compete for top dog.
This is the second Best in Show prize for Penny's handler, Andy Linton, who won the award nearly four decades ago with another Doberman named Indy.
Mr Linton says Penny is very chill but adds she can get pretty pumped up for a bad guy or a squirrel.
From pups to pachyderms, the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington DC is announcing the birth of an Asian elephant.
The 308-pound female calf arrived early Tuesday morning to mother Ni Lin and father Spike.
She is the first Asian elephant to be born at the zoo in 25 years.
According to The Guardian, she will spend a month bonding with her mother before making her public debut.
This birth fills us with profound joy, said zoo official Brandy Smith.
What we learn from our elephants in DC directly strengthens our work to protect wild Asian elephants across Southeast Asia.
The zoo is holding a $5 donate to vote campaign to help name the new calf on its website.

Spain is the latest European country to hop on the ban bandwagon.
Starting next month, the country will prohibit anyone under 16 from accessing many social media platforms, as part of a widespread effort to hold tech companies responsible for harm done to their users.
Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez, said social media has become a failed state, a place where laws are ignored.
France is also working on a ban, as are several other countries.
A brand new sport is entering the Olympic arena.
Ski mountaineering, or SkiMo, will join the 2026 Games in Cortina, Italy over the next few weeks.
It involves competitors ascending the mountain with so-called skins that feel like pieces of sticky carpet on the bottom of their skis for grip.
On steep sections, they place the skis in backpacks and climb on foot.
Once at the top, the skins come off and racers ski down the mountain through the course.
There will be three ski mountaineering events at the Cortina Games men's and women's sprints and the mixed relay, with the first starting February 19, according to Olympicscom.
Schemo has been a staple of Alpine and European mountain culture for decades and in the US is becoming increasingly popular in Colorado and Utah.
Cameron Smith, Anna Gibson, and Hallie Haifman are reported to be top medal contenders for Team USA.
Still ahead, the art of creating the perfect turf for the Super Bowl.

In today's Kid News Kicker, the grass is always greener at the Super Bowl.
According to Axios, the NFL installs an entirely new field at host stadiums before the big game to make sure paint is fresh, Super Bowl-specific graphics are in place and the surface is ready for play.
For this year's game at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
The 80000 square feet of grass was grown over about 18 months, a few hours away in the town of Livingston.
Once harvested, it was cut into more than 550 40-foot rolls and transported in trucks to the stadium and installed using asphalt rollers.
NFL field director Nick Pappas says he and his team rely on sensors, data and turf management practices, including underground ventilation, to protect the field leading up to the game.
It's here just for the Super Bowl, he says.
That's why we want it to be as beautiful as it can be.
And now shout outs for our teachers.
Mrs. Culver's Wolves at Westerly Creek in Denver, Colorado.
Ms.
