And we begin with Team USA packing its bags for the Winter Olympics.
Organizers have released a list of 232 qualifying athletes 117 men and 115 women bringing their red, white and blue best to Milan Cortina next month, ranging from the youngest 15-year-old free skier, Abby Winterberger, to the oldest 54-year-old curler, Rich Ruohonen.
It will be the fifth go-around for seven of the athletes, including some familiar names like Lindsey Vaughn and Bob Sletters, Kaylee Humphries and Ilana Myers-Taylor.
The games will be spread all across Italy, with sports like hockey and figure skating taking place in Milan, and skiing and snowboarding in mountain areas like Cortina.
Competition is set to begin on February 4th with the opening ceremony set for February 6th.
Old Man Winter isn't done yet.
According to USA Today, another possible storm is popping up on computer models for January 31st and February 1st.
It's too soon, though, to know where it'll hit or how big it'll be.
In the meantime, the big dig to clear cars, roads, and sidewalks from Fern's Fury continues.

According to American songwriter, if the album wins, Aura would be the youngest individual winner ever.

The North Beach neighborhood, famous for its many Italian inspired restaurants, coffee houses and delis, is reportedly drowning in discarded pizza boxes, because big square boxes don't tend to fit in round trash cans.
The city's solution new colorful drop-off bins designed by a local artist, with wide slots designed specifically for pizza boxes.
Danny Sautter, the supervisor who spearheaded the project at the request of resident Giselle Reiner, admitted to CBS News that it isn't the biggest problem in the world, or even the city, but it's something they could do something about.
So far, the reaction has been overwhelmingly positive.

In today's Kid News, Kicker Oscar Mayer just announced its fleet of six famous Wienermobiles will zoom around the Indianapolis 500 track for the second annual Weenie 500.
Last year, fans cheered on regional favorites like Slaw Dog, Shy Dog and New York Dog as they raced around the 25-mile oval in hot dog-shaped cars with fun decals and drivers in hot dogger suits.
This year, on May 22nd, during the event's Carburation Day festivities, the same lineup returns with a new twist.
Fans can vote on which dog gets the sixth spot, and the company is promising more surprises.
The race ends with a champion cruising into the wiener circle.
