I'm Kim. Today is Monday, May 19, And we begin with messages of support pouring in for former President Biden.
Yesterday, his office announced that he's been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer.
However, the statement also said it's treatable and that the Biden family is reviewing its options.
Mr. Biden is 82, and when he left office in January, he was the oldest -serving president in American history.
According to NBC News, Mr. Biden is currently at his home in Wilmington Delaware but it is not yet known where he will receive treatment.
Memorial Day beachgoers in Florida are in for an extra stinky surprise.
A record amount of the brown smelly unsightly seaweed called Sargassum is creeping toward the coastline according to scientists at the University of South Florida College of marine science.
Sargassum is a type of naturally occurring microalgae that's always been around, just not in such large quantities.
In April, this year's bloom was observed via satellite in the eastern Caribbean Sea and western Atlantic Ocean, to be 200 percent larger than last year.
Forecasters expect the blob to hit south Florida shores this month, and say while it's safe for most humans, it can cause a terribly foul smell when it washes onshore and decays.

It was reportedly drifting in reverse downstream when it collided with the bridge and snapped three of its masts.
The Cuauhtémoc was roughly 150 feet tall and built more than 40 years ago in Spain.
It was on its way to Iceland, with 277 people on board, the majority of whom were not injured.
