Hello, everybody. My name is Coach Shane.
And welcome to Easy English Expressions.
You & me every day.
Come on, let's master English!
Hello everybody. Welcome back to Daily Easy English Expression.
Once again, today's podcast is brought to you by you.
I'm going to introduce more of the fantastic comments and people.
People that left comments on iTunes.
Today's expression, very useful.
I can't help but do something.
I can't help but do something.
I cannot help but do something.
That means I have to do something, nothing can stop me from doing it.
I must do something.
So for example, I can't help but laugh.
If you say, I can't help but laugh, that means nothing can stop you from laughing.
You have to laugh. You must laugh, even if it's not super funny, or even if you're not supposed to laugh, you laugh.
So, for example, if you're watching Jim Carrey and you think to yourself, oh, this is so stupid but you laugh anyway.
You might say, I couldn't help but laugh, it was so stupid I had to laugh.
Or maybe you're at church or the mosque or the synagogue and everybody is praying.
duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh But for some reason your brother hits you, or your brother starts to fall asleep, or says the wrong words, and you start laughing.
You can't help but laugh.
It's too funny. Maybe the grandfather in front of you, maybe he farts.
You're not supposed to laugh in church, but you can't help but laugh.
It's a great expression.
It's very useful. And the dialogue is perfect.
Check it out. Uh uh uh uh uh uh.
What are you doing?
I'm eating more cake.
You are supposed to be on a diet!
But it's so good, I can't help but eat it!
Yes that's a perfect example.
Somebody who is on a diet, they're trying to lose weight, of course they should not be eating cake and cookies and ice cream, deep -fried foods, pizza, hamburgers, french fries, but sometimes it tastes so Oh you can't stop!
You can't help but eat those delicious foods.
Even though you're on a diet, even though you shouldn't, even though you must stop, you can't.
You can't help but eat those delicious foods.
I hope my daily podcast is that way.
You can't help but listen.
You have to listen.
You want to stop. You need to stop but It's helpless.
You cannot help but Listen to the podcast. I hope let's check out the dialogue two more times What are you doing?
I'm eating more cake.
You are supposed to be on a diet But it's so good.
I can't help but eat it Uh -uh, uh -uh, uh -uh, what are you doing?
I'm eating more cake.
You are supposed to be on a diet.
But it's so good. I can't help but eat it.
It's time for me to say thank you.
I cannot help but say thank you a thousand times, a million times.

Next, the next three are from Brazil.
First we have Lucenia, Lucenia, Lucenia.
The best. You really teach us Obrigada thank you so much. I'm doing my best. I'm doing my best next also from Brazil.
I recommend this is Fabrice Shane is a very exciting coach and the content produced by him helps me a lot I recommend with enthusiasm, but Although I understand how fair that he must make money from his classes he spends too much time inviting us to donate.
His podcast could be shorter if he were more objective in advertising.
To wrap this up, Shane deserves our contribution because he is very good.
Thank you so much. And you know what, this is my big dilemma.
I am a horrible marketer.
I don't know how to do it.
And if I don't do it, it's terrible.
If I do it, it seems too much. I need to find the middle ground.
What are your recommendations everybody?
Should I promote donations like once a week and my classes once?
What do I do? Help me out, help me out please.
Thank you so much, obrigado.
