Hello everybody, my name is Coach Shane and welcome to Easy English Expressions.
Come on, let's master English.
Hello everybody, welcome back to DailyEasyEnglishExpressions, the Budcast.
Coach Shane here, how have you been?
I, oh my goodness, I have been big time busy.
Big time busy. So busy is doing so many things with my students.
It's been fantastic. We have the China camp going on, DDM VIP, Perf VIP, so many excellent lessons and the people that are in the classes are so great, their questions are unbelievable.
And that just makes me big time busy.
And that is today's expression big time.
Now we can use this as a noun or to describe a noun.
So for example, I am big time busy.
Here I'm describing the word busy with big time.
It means a lot. It means a huge amount and I have an English dialogue to help you understand even more.
And some more examples, so check out the dialogue.
I started an English camp in China a few weeks ago.
Teaching English? Yeah, live classes focusing on listening and speaking.
Wow, that'll be useful big time.
There you go, that'll be useful big time.
Yeah, that's true. If you're in China and are interested in joining or finding out more information about the English camp, it's easy.
When we chat, just find coach266, that's COACH266 and make a friend and ask any questions.
I don't care. If you're whether you're in the English camp or if you're in like DTM VIP or Perf VIP, I'm there.
I'm right there. You know, these are basically live situations and where I take care of your questions and I help you with your English and it's so much fun.
It actually, it's a lot of work to me.
It's big time busy, but it's also very enjoyable because again, because of the people.
The people, their participation is amazing.
Their questions are excellent and their passion, their hunger is big time.
They have big time passion.
They have big time hunger.
They have a lot of passion, a lot of hunger.
And that makes me big time excited.
Maybe one day I'll be big time rich.
Yeah, that'd be nice. You too.
I want you to be big time successful too.
Okay, so some other examples of using big time.
My friend John used to be in a local band, but now he's become successful.
He's in the big time. He has a big record contract.
And wouldn't that be nice?
Are you a singer, a musician?
We have. I know quite a few musicians and some of them are actually in the big time.
It's true. Some of them, some of my DDM students.
Here's another example.
Oh, this new contract could mean big time success for my business.
Yes, big time success, really a huge amount of success, perhaps, perhaps.
One more example. After a couple years of studying with coach Shane in order to master his English, finally, he got a new job with a big time salary and a big time company.
He has reached the big time.
Big time salary. Big time company, famous company.
He has reached the big time.
He's reached the top. Very successful.
And once again, first, not for everybody, but for some people that need English for their jobs, for their career.
Yeah, that's what we do.
We bring you the big time.
We bring the big time to you.
It's a great expression.
Can you think of an example of how to use big time, big time reaching a higher?
Often more professional or elite level in a specific area, achieving great success.
This is the whole idea of big time.
Do I have to spell it? Two words, big time, bi, g, t, i, m, e.
All right, check out the dialogue two more times.
And together, let's master English.
