Hello everybody, my name is Coach Shane and welcome to Easy English Expressions.
Come on, let's master English.
Hello everybody, welcome back to daily easy English expression.
The Budgaz.
This is number one thousand thirty.
Today's expression is very, well it's very useful to be over someone or something.
This is important to be over someone, to be over something.
And what this means is someone did something bad to you or something bad happened to you.
You experienced something bad, somebody you know embarrassed you or somebody you maybe
you had a boyfriend or a girlfriend and they left you for somebody else.
So basically you have a broken heart.
You have a broken heart or you have anger.
You're angry at that person.
You have some very negative feelings.
Now do these negative feelings last forever?
No, I hope not.
No, no, you need to eventually we need to just forget about it, right?
And be done with that person or that event.
It's over.
It is finished.
If something is over, it is done.
It is finished.
So if you are over someone or if you are over something, that person or that thing that
bothered you in the past is now done.
It's finished.
You are fine.
You're free is the idea.
Emotionally free.
Check out the dialogue.
Oh, there's that song.
What?
Oh, yeah, that's a nice song.
It reminds me of Sue.
What?
You should be so over her.
Come on.
That was 14 years ago.
Oh, my God.
Yeah.
But that's true.
Sometimes you listen to music, right?
You listen to music or maybe you watch a TV show or maybe you watch a movie or even read
a book and that might bring back a memory from a long time ago, especially music, right?
Yeah.
So you're listening to a song that you used to like in middle school or high school or
college.
And then suddenly as you're listening to the song and enjoying the song, you imagine
the friends that you were with or the places that you were at and you get those memories.
And sometimes you might be sad, aw, I used to have a girlfriend, I used to have a boyfriend,
it was so good.
I get over it.
Get over it.
You should be so over her or him.
Forget about it.
You have a love that will never leave your heart.
Get over it.
Forget about it.
You should be over that person.
Live now, not in the past.
Live for the future.
What you have now for the future.
Get over the negative events.
Get over the negative people.
Get over those memories and emotions that are holding you back.
Get over it.
Be free.
Yeah, be free.
Seriously.
Speaking of free, what a great segue.
Speaking of free, get my free lessons.
www.letzmasterenglish.com slash free.
Put your name there, put your email address there.
Yeah, we'll send you three free lessons.
And if we like you, and if you are truly over your past issues and you ask us, we may
even send you a couple VIP lessons.
Now I should tell you, VIP lessons go out every month, usually for the first three weeks
of every month.
And then the last week of every month, usually there are no lessons.
So if you sign up, for example, what's today?
Today is August 18th, it's Wednesday.
Yeah, so today would be a good day to sign up and ask for VIP lessons.
You have to email me and ask me.
So anyway, the 19th tomorrow, I will be putting out a DDM VIP lesson, brand new.
And I'll just, you guys can't join the live classes.
It's just the lesson.
You get to see the lesson.
And today, once again, I can send you our current perf lesson because tomorrow the answers
go up so you have time.
So yeah, today would be a great day to sign up.
But if you signed up next week, let's say August 25th of 2021, there's no VIP lessons
that week.
That's okay.
You can still sign up.
But just remember on what is it September, September 2nd, I send out new lessons every
Monday and Thursday, but not during the off week.
Okay, so keep that in mind.
So yeah, just ask for free VIP lessons.
You might have to wait a week, a week and a half, but we will get them to you if you
ask nicely, if you are over your past troubles.
Like a bridge over trouble waters.
Actually, that's a completely different nuance.
Sorry, forget about that.
You guys have a fantastic day.
Check out the dialogue two more times.
And together, let's master English.
