Master it together with me.
Okay. Today's expression very good.
I'm going to give you three definitions of the expression to be loaded.
To be loaded, I am loaded.
Loaded. To be loaded.
L -O -A -D -E -D. Okay. One more time.
L -O -A -D -E -D. Loaded.
Loaded. So one definition of to be loaded is to be drunk, meaning to have consumed a lot of alcohol.
Too much beer, too much whiskey.
That's the idea. So if you are loaded, you're drunk.
Another definition of to be loaded is to be rich.
Yeah. Money, money, money, money, money.
Sorry. To have lots and lots and lots of money means to be loaded.
Are you loaded? And another definition of loaded means to be full, meaning you put something in something.
So, for example, my refrigerator is loaded.
And that means if you open my refrigerator, it is full.
Okay. It's full of food.
Milk and cheese and beer, meat, vegetables.
Yeah. So my refrigerator is loaded.
That's the idea. So you can load something.
So the idea, when we say this and that meaning, something was empty or there was a big open space and we filled up the space.
Do you understand? That is to be loaded.
The space is full. It was empty.
And now it is full.
Okay. So those are three definitions of to be loaded.
Number one, to be drunk, to have too much alcohol in your system.
Number two, to be rich.
Money, money, money, money.
And number three, to fill an empty space like a refrigerator.
My refrigerator is loaded.
My brain is loaded with amazing information.
It was empty. My brain was empty, but now it is full.
Check out the dialogue.
15 bottles of Johnny Walker blue label.
We're getting loaded tonight.
Oh, you must be loaded to be able to afford it.
I do pretty good. Now help load it into my limousine already loaded.
Oh my God. That one guy is really, really, really, really rich.
He has a limousine.
Do you know what a limousine is?
Those really expensive, really long cars that only Hollywood celebrities and rich New York City people have.
Do you have a limousine?
I'm so jealous. Those are nice cars.
Really big cars, right?
So anyway, what was the conversation?
So the guy, that guy, he went to buy alcohol and he bought Johnny Walker blue label.
Now one bottle of Johnny Walker blue label, it's a whiskey.
Okay. It's a whiskey.
One bottle is about $150, maybe more.
I don't even know. And this guy bought 15 bottles of that whiskey.
Oh my God. That's a huge amount of money to be spending on whiskey.
15 bottles. Okay. Um, so obviously he must be rich to be rich, to be loaded, right?
And if they bought that much whiskey and they're going to drink that whiskey, oh my God, they're going to get drunk, right?
And to get drunk, to be loaded.
Now, 15 bottles. You can't really carry that in your arm.
You have to put it into the back of the car, into the trunk.
You need to load it into the trunk.
You need to put it into the trunk.
And after you put it into the trunk, the trunk is loaded.
The trunk is full. Right?
So the conversation again, 15 bottles of Johnny Walker blue label.
Wow. That's a lot. And the guy says we're getting loaded tonight.
We're getting drunk tonight.
And the other guy says, you must be loaded to be able to afford it.
You must be rich, have a lot of money to be able to buy that expensive whiskey.
And the other guy says, I do pretty good.
Yeah, my money is okay.
Now help me load it, help load it into my limousine, help put all of these bottles of whiskey into my limousine.
And the other guy says already loaded.
We already put them into your car.
It's already loaded your car, your empty trunk space is now full of whiskey.
And there you go to be loaded.
It is a very common expression.
Now for me, I don't use this to describe myself as drunk, but sometimes on the street, you'll see a drunk guy and I'll say he's loaded to talk about a rich person like Donald Trump, Donald Trump is loaded, that guy is loaded.
One day I would love to be loaded, very common.
And when I go shopping, once a month, I go to a big store and I buy a lot of groceries and I put it into the back of my car.
And my car is loaded with groceries.
And then I go home and I put the groceries into my refrigerator.
And my refrigerator is loaded with fresh food.
So these are really useful expressions, you guys, I think you might know them.
But remember, in order to master them, you need to use them.
And use them with me to use them with a coach.
And I can be your coach.
We have many, many other coaches too that can help you join us for DDM or perf.

Check out the dialogue two more times and together, let's Master English.
