That's basically at the idea.
To try and make someone happy in order for you to gain something.
This is how we use the word usually.
Okay, pander can have other meanings, too in this case though you should think of a politician a politician and The idea of a politician who panders to people let's say I'm an American politician You know I'm coach shame coat shame, and I want to be the senator or president and And I'm speaking to Americans, you know, I speak, you know, whatever I do.
And then, I go to a Hispanic neighborhood.
Maybe I go to some place in Texas, or in Miami, or in Los Angeles.
And everybody there, most of the people there are Hispanics, right?
Lots of Mexicans, and Costa Ricans, and whatever.
Puerto Ricans and Cubans, whatever.
A huge Hispanic community.
now coat shame do I speak Spanish no well poco I know like a couple of words I know a few words do I eat Spanish food yeah I mean I eat tacos and burritos but I think they're probably American style anyway I go to the Spanish community and Suddenly, I start speaking Spanish and then I say oh, I love tacos and Mexican tacos are the greatest tacos in the world and oh, I love you know this culture and the music Now that may be true, maybe I do love tacos and maybe I do love the music, but I'm going to a Spanish community a Hispanic community and I'm saying these things why Actually not because I
like the food and I like the culture because I want those people to vote for me.
I am pandering to the Hispanic community So examples with politicians are the most common check out the dialogue Look at the idiots pandering to the general public.
Can you imagine those guys ever eating anything on a stick?
Maybe a pure gold stick.
Okay, so what's this conversation about?
So in America, in the summer time, in the late summer, we have many festivals, right?
You go to a festival, and at the festivals, there are lots of fun.
But they have food, outside food, right?
Now, that outside food festival food, is it healthy?
No, it's usually not healthy, but it's really delicious.
And sometimes that outside food can be a little bit dirty.
But you don't want to use a fork and a knife.
You want to walk around with the food, right?
So instead of using a fork and a knife, what they do is they put the food on a stick.
Okay? Like an ice cream.
You know you can think of a frozen ice cream on a stick, but you can find anything on a stick You can find pork chops on a stick.
You can find pickles on a stick You can find you know any type of food on a stick and Politicians love now most politicians in America most politicians are kind of rich they have a lot of money and in America we have the image that rich people do not eat food on a stick that's for regular people for well you know people like coach Shane for regular people for the the non rich people however at every festival you will always see a politician eating food a stick.
Why do they do that?
To pander, to show people, hey I'm just like you.
These days Mark Zuckerberg is doing that.
Mark Zuckerberg the founder of Facebook he's going to these really kind of dirty small restaurants and eating food there and talking with the local people and he's trying to show people, hey I'm just believe it to pander now not only politicians but you know mothers and fathers and children and uncles and employees and employers they can pander to i want you to look up the word P A N D E R see how it is used and again politicians are the worst pandering people in the world you guys have a Fantastic day.
