Hello everybody, my name is Coach Shane and welcome to Easy English Expressions.

Hello everybody, welcome back to daily Easy English expression.
Oh, today we have a good expression.
It's actually very scary.
Okay, so have you seen like American TV?
Especially maybe a cowboy movie.
Yeah. Have you seen something like that?
Maybe not. Well lots of those cowboy movies took place in the desert Yeah, for some reason they shot a lot of those movies in the desert and in the desert.
There are some scary creatures.
One is the snake and one snake in the US is called a rattlesnake.
Have you heard of a rattlesnake?
R, A, T, T, L, E, S, N, A, K, E.
Well the rattlesnake is a big snake but at the end of its tail it raises high and it can shake and there's a sound and when it shakes its tail that means it's getting ready to attack so if The rattlesnake is looking at you and shaking its tail.
It wants to attack you and that is not good.
The rattlesnake has poison.
You do not want to get bit by a rattlesnake.
So anyway because of this snake, because of that sound, that sound is that's the rattling sound.
We use this as a verb.
To rattle someone. To rattle someone means to scare someone, to make someone very nervous.
Have you ever been rattled?
The other day I was rattled.
I woke up and I checked the news and they said another huge computer virus is going around the world.
And I was thinking, oh my god, what happens if my computers get the virus?
Then I will lose all my lessons.
This is terrible! I was rattled!
I was rattled! I was scared!
That news rattled me.
The news rattled me.
Check out the dialogue.
