Can you back it up?" Instead of it, we could say, that.
Can you back that up?
Can you back that up?
Can you, can he, can she, can they, can we?
Can C -A -N -U back B -A -C -K it?
I -T, up, U -P. So to back something up is a phrasal verb and what it means is prove p -r -o -v -e.
Can you back it up?
So, the idea is you said something and you say that it is true.
Well, can you back it up?
Can you prove it? Can you prove that it is true?
Do you You have some photographs that show it's true.
Can you show me information from a book?
Has a scientist or a doctor agreed with what you say?
Can you back it up?
Can you prove it? It's a great expression, check out the dialogue.
So, I hear you're pretty good at fishing.

Wow! Unbelievable. So on, uh, what was it, Wednesday, we studied bragging rights.
And once again, bragging is terrible.
We don't like people who brag.
But sometimes when they're absolutely the king of something, its okay.
Michael Jordan was the king of basketball, so he has bragging rights.
Now people think that I'm a good fisherman.
I don't think I am.
However, I do have some pictures of me with some very big fish.
So yeah, I'm not bad.
And I'll tell you what this weekend Saturday and Sunday.
I am going to fish very hard I'll go fishing at least three times Saturday afternoon once Sunday morning once Sunday evening once at least three times I will get out fishing maybe four.
Maybe Saturday morning, too.
I'm not sure but yeah, so If and believe me if I catch a fish I'll take a picture and I'll show you.
So I'm prepared to back up the whole idea that Coach Shane is a good fisherman.
Well hopefully I'll catch a fish.
If I don't catch a fish, forget about it.
But you know I told people, you know, I've told people for a long time my dream is to live in the country And now I actually live in the country and I told people I wanted to raise chickens and have eggs and now I have chickens and I can back that up.

I Give now I show you some pictures They used to be tiny little chicks in one hand I could hold six or seven chicks and now they're huge You know and they're only like a month and a half old And just one chick fits in my hand so it's amazing so I'm raising chickens and one day I'll have eggs and Sorry, but I'll have some chicken too Good.

Sorry. I know that's bad I'm really sorry, but yes, so so now that I said I would do it and now I have chickens I can back it up.
