Today we have a word that is going to be necessary for me this summer.
What about you? Right now it's cold.
We had some warm weather a few days ago.
Right now the temperature is minus 3 Celsius.
I don't know, 25 degrees Fahrenheit.
So it's cold. but very soon by the end of March into April it's going to warm up and when it warms up there's going to be many mosquitoes and where I live not only mosquitoes..
ooooh I hate those things not only mosquitoes but deer flies, oh my god They're so terrible and ticks.
Ooh, those little insects can be terrible too.
But I love the outdoors, so what can you do if you're outdoors around your house but the mosquitoes and deer flies and other insects are so bad, you need to get a bug zapper.
And that's today's word, a bug zapper.
They have different types.
There's a type of bug zapper that you hang like a light and There's another type of bug zapper that looks like a tennis racket So can you imagine what a bug zapper is?
It's a bug killer that uses electricity to actually kill the bugs I know it's terrible and if you are you know anti -death this is a terrible lesson but many people where I live when the mosquitoes are so bad you need a bug zapper or you'll die yeah it's serious mosquitoes can be dangerous they can kill people they can absolutely ticks to Oh, it's bad.
So a bug zapper B -U -G bug bug means an insect any Insect that we don't like so it could be a mosquito It could be even a spider It could be a tick T I C K.
You can look up online a wood tick T I C K and A deer fly you can look up a deer fly D E R F L Y then there's the horse fly.
Oh my goodness if a horse fly bites you It's like getting kicked by a horse very painful and itchy.
Oh it itches and itches and itches It's really terrible.
So if you have a bug zapper You can hear the zapper killing Those bugs those insects and that makes you feel a little comfortable Unfortunately, bug zappers do not kill all of the insects.
But that's why we have birds, right?
Birds are really good for taking care of the insects.
So, bug zapper, it's very useful if you live in an area where you have mosquitoes.
Do you have a bug zapper?

Yeah me actually I don't have a bug zapper.
I use mosquito spray As spray and lotion and those seem to work okay.

I don't know so the one of the keywords today was mosquito Mosquito So when you hear a mosquito we hate that sound right But I'll tell you what there is a scarier sound a mosquito.
When it stops, that's when it's scarier because you know in a second you're going to feel out and the mosquito is gonna bite you.
So I would rather hear a flying mosquito than a silent mosquito unless I killed it then I would be happy.
So we have the word mosquito but we also use the word skeder.
Yeah in the Midwest in the country we say instead of mosquito we say skater s -k -e -e -t -e -r instead of mosquitoes we say skeeters.
I love it yes skaters I hate skaters though.
