Mine is okay but to be serious I want something to nosh.
I want to nosh on something and that is today's expression to nosh, n -o -s -h, to nosh, to nosh, to nosh on something means to snack on something, to nibble something, so it's not breakfast breakfast, I had breakfast, it's not lunch, it's before lunch, it's in the middle, it's in between meals, not lunch, not dinner, between lunch and dinner, after dinner.
It's when you have eaten your meal but you still want something to snack on, to nosh, to eat, something little, maybe some peanuts or some cookies or maybe a piece of fruit Check out the dialogue.
Ah, you got anything to nosh?
Uh, cheese. Ew, what kind?
Kraft Singles. Oh cheese.
Cheese is something good to nosh, but this guy, what kind of cheese does he have?
He has those Kraft Singles.
Kraft Singles is a name brand.
Kraft. Kraft cheese, very popular cheese in America, Singles.
Those are pre -sliced cheese.
You can imagine when you go to McDonalds or Burger King and you get a cheeseburger, there's that square piece of cheese on the burger.
Those are Singles, they're all pre -cut and who knows, maybe the company Kraft made them.
That is the type of cheese this guy has to nosh, or to snack on.
Usually, people who nosh cheese prefer different types of cheese.
But anyway, for me that would be fine.
So yeah, right now, I have some nuts to nosh.
I've got a couple cookies, and what else do I have?
Oh, I've got some apples.
What about you? What do you like to nosh?
