Today's expression is wonderful.
It is all that jazz.
All a -l -l, that jazz.
J -a -z -z. So jazz is a type of music.
Does this expression have anything to do with music?
uhh well no, actually it's an idiom which means and all of that stuff and everything like it etc etc etc and so on and so on.
That's the idea. So many students have asked me, Coach Shane, what did you study in college?
And I tell them, well, I studied economics, and international relations, and East Asian studies and all that jazz.
And all of those things that are related.
When it comes to economics, I studied microeconomics and macroeconomics.
I studied American economics, East Asian economics, world economics, political economics, International relations was mostly about politics.
American politics foreign policy, East Asian studies, East Asian foreign policy.
Yeah, I studied all of those related subjects.
So I studied economics and international relations and all that jazz, et cetera, et cetera.
So on and so on. Today, I went to the store, especially for my cats.
I have two cats so coach Shane.
What did you buy? Well?
I bought some cat food and some cat litter and all that jazz All the stuff I needed for my cats.
I bought it today. I bought some cat What do you call it?
I want to say toenails?
Claws I bought some claws stuff a scratching pad a scratching post I bought a little toy rat, you know this this stuff and that stuff this and that all that jazz all that stuff that is related Does this expression make sense?
