Today's video is all about my holiday aesthetic.
I cannot believe we are already almost halfway through December.
First off, where did this year go?
But like, where did the last couple months go?
I honestly always look forward to these videos because I feel like it's such a nice way to end the year, get me in the holiday mood and do all of my favorite holiday activities.
I also have been pinning so many things to my holiday aesthetic Pinterest board, so I feel like I'm finally in the holiday mood.
To start out with today, I decorated my room I am all about the pink Christmas theme, if you haven't guessed and so I wanted my room to feel more festive for the holidays, but also like a winter vibe.
I'm planning on keeping up most of these decorations through January, and for the most part, I'm reusing most of the decorations that I've accumulated the last couple years.
It's actually been so nice to like slowly build a collection.
Every year I get a couple new things, and if not, I just reuse what I already have, and that way, every single one of my decorations is very me.
It was all curated to my exact taste.
These were actually the newest addition to my collection.
I have had these on my list for so long.
The last couple years I've had a tab open on my laptop ready to check out with these two, and this year I decided to add them to my collection.
So these were honestly what I was most excited to decorate with.
Honestly, I kept my bedside table pretty simple this year.
I had planned to put a little more on here, but honestly I feel like these two decorations just deserve their own spot.
I also put some of my most worn shoes during this season on the top of my shoe rack.
This is something I love changing up every season but honestly, during winter my most worn shoes are definitely my slippers.
And here is how I decided to decorate my bed First, my favorite pink bedding.
I honestly have this up year round.
And then I have a couple of holiday pillows that I love.
I got these last year and two jelly cats in the front.
This one is a part of their winter collection this year.
And this pink one I bought in Paris.
I think they look so cute with all of the pillows in the background.
And then I also put up this string lights on my bed frame.
Kind of want to keep that there year round, but I know my cats will probably destroy it before Christmas even comes.
Like, look, she's already thinking about it.
That is crazy timing, actually.

And then I put this jelly cat on my boyfriend's side.
And I think it's so cute because this kind of looks like him.
One of my favorite ways to decorate each season is just to change up what I have out on this shelf.
I thought this ribbon was so cute and it tied in with a lot of my favorite products.
Some of these, which I just bought.
And I of course had to put out a winter candle.
This one is twisted peppermint.
And honestly, it reminds me so much of middle school.
I used to have this lit all the time in my old room.
So it's very nostalgic.
I also added some lights to this Christmas tree.
I honestly totally forgot about these candlesticks.
I bought these like over a month ago.
They really go with my theme.
They're these glass candlesticks with this pink bow.
And then I had to get these candles to go with them.
They honestly feel very Christmassy, but they're pink also.
So it's just too perfect.
Honestly, I think my room came out so cute.
So this was the perfect way to start getting into the holiday mood.
This time of year is always my favorite to stock up on shower products, because this is when all of the best scents come out.
I always gravitate towards vanilla, sugary sweet scents and I feel like this time of year all of those limited edition products in those exact scents come out.
I purposely try to finish my entire shower routine so I can restock everything and make it like.
So I have not opened any of these.
I've literally been waiting for this video so that I could try everything and let you guys know what I think.
But I think some of these scents are gonna be my favorite yet.
Honestly, I knew I would enjoy all these new winter products, just because I love these types of scents.
I love smelling edible like a dessert.
And especially during the holiday season, I feel like all these new limited edition scents come out and they're always super sweet.
By far, my favorite product I tried was this Philosophy Body Wash.
This was the cinnamon bun scent, which I think is a limited edition scent.
And I loved it.
Like this smells so 10 out of 10.
I've been using this every shower this week and it smells so good.
This humidifier is another new addition to my room.
I don't know what it is, but in December and January of every year, without a doubt, I get sick.
It's almost like a tradition at this point.
So I was literally just sick last week and this humidifier saved me.

So of course, my cats have an advent calendar this year too, but they have been going so crazy for this.
They found this on the counter the other day and opened up like every single door.
The treats inside of each of the days are also like in a plastic bag so they can't get to them, and i came upstairs and they were like trying their hardest to get every single door open before i could get it from them.
This weekend I am going on a snow trip.
I am so excited.
I haven't been to the snow since last year.
It's funny to think that like a lot of my subscribers live in the snow.
Like you can probably look out your bedroom window and there's snow on the ground.
So anyway, I'm going with my boyfriend and a bunch of friends.
We're probably gonna ski and I do not have good snow pants, so I'm gonna look right now to find some.
I've skied the last couple years but I never ended up like really investing in my own clothes and like snow gear and all of that, and I feel like I probably should.
So I'm gonna look for some snow pants and stuff like that for this weekend and then I'll probably go into a couple more stores over here because I love looking at the holiday decorations.
Last year i bought the cutest gingerbread cookie jar.
This was probably my favorite decoration i've bought.
It was honestly the cutest thing ever.
I thought this would become like a family heirloom.
I was like this is gonna be passed down in my family for generations, like like i'll have this out forever.
My kids will use it.
I'll pass it down to them one day.
I was convinced this was like the ultimate christmas decoration and then a couple days after christmas last year, i was putting it away and i dropped it on the floor and it broke and I probably stared at the floor for like 10 minutes.
I was convinced this would be in my life forever.
I literally thought it was gonna be a family heirloom and it didn't even make it to its second Christmas.
So I decided to look at it again in World Market, but it's 36 and I feel like the magic is gone now, like I dropped it.
I can't believe I did that.
Um so anyway, I went into a couple stores.
I ended up getting some cute things honestly, though this year I'm not going crazy on decorations like I bought those cute gingerbread houses that are on my bedside tables, and that was really my big purchase this year I feel like not only did I get a lot of really good stuff last year, but honestly, I want to slowly build my decorations collection.
I honestly only have out holiday decorations for like a month or two every year, and then the rest of the year they're put away in a box.
I don't want to spend a lot of money on decorations and I feel like it's more valuable when my collection is slowly put together over time and I reuse everything every year.
You know it's so much better, but I did find a couple things, including these mini snowflake marshmallows, which were completely necessary.
I also found a couple things for my snow trip.
I ended up with a new waterproof jacket.
I think it's gonna be so cute.
That's why i'm really excited for this trip, but i'm kind of nervous to ski.
I won't lie, i am not the best, but it's fine, all right, everyone.
This week i'm headed to the snow.
I am so excited so i'm gonna insert a bunch of clips from my trip here.
I'm honestly so happy that we're making it to the snow this year.
We usually go every year, but we don't usually get to do a whole trip like this, but it always helps to romanticize winter so much.
