That's it.
It's going to be a November to remember.
But for now, let's get on with the show.
Woo!
Can I come in?
Oh, sure, Guy Raz.
The green room is open for everyone.
You excited about the show today?
Yeah, I'm just reading over the scripture, but I'm worried it might be a little too gross.
Too gross?
Guy Raz, nothing is too gross.
Uh, right.
Now, can I cut some cheese for you?
I'm sorry?
Oh, well, I was just about to cut the cheese.
Are you interested?
Mindy, don't Do that in the green room, and it's going to be smelly.
Well, of course it's going to be smelly.
That's how you know it's good.
But, um... This one's been fermenting for years.
Years?
Mindy, that doesn't sound healthy.
Nobody said it was healthy, Guy Raz, but that's the process.
Cheese can age anywhere from two weeks to three years before it's good to eat.
Oh, you meant you were cutting up actual cheese for...
For eating.
Yeah, of course that's what I was talking about.
Why else would I be cutting the cheese?
Well, uh... Oh, I see.
You thought I was talking about... Yeah.
Ah, don't worry, Guy Raz.
No bad smells from me in here.
Okay, everyone.
Ten seconds to showtime.
Places!
Places!
Ahem.
You there, cup the cakes.
And you, mind the gap.
And Reggie the store.
We're going live in three two, one.
And now for everyone's favorite game show.
It's two once and a while, a scientific game show that separates the wows from the what's.
And the category for today is gas.
And by gas, we mean toots.
Mindy, why don't you refresh our contestants on how the game works?
You know it.
Rousers in each of our three rounds.
Today, Guy Ross and I will present you with three scientific statements about toots.
But, and this is a big one, But only one of those statements will be a true wow.
The other two, just a couple of made up what?
And in each round, if you guess correctly, congratulations, you get a point.
But if you guess the answer wrong, you must stop, drop, and do a ridonkulous physical challenge.
Okay, everyone ready to start the game?
Great, then let's go.
Okay.
Okay.
Round one.
Which of the following statements is a true scientific wow?
Is it A, toots travel at speeds of over 15 miles an hour?
Or is it B, manatees toot to move up and down through water?
Or is it C, tooting too much could cause your body to deflate?
When you think you have the correct answer, make a toot noise with your armpit.
Reggie, cue the thinking music.
And time is up.
Let's now reveal the winning wow.
And to do just that, joining us by phone Jasper from Arizona.
Jasper, tell us, what's the winning wow?
Hi, I'm Jasper and my wow in the world is that manatees fart to propel themselves faster through the water.
Bye!
Winner, winner, sofa for dinner!
Thank you, Jasper!
Contestants.
If you guessed the answer B, that manatees use to move up and down in water, you found the winning wow.
Congratulations!
You heard that right.
Manatees scoot around in the water by using their tooths to propel them.
Now, if you did not get the correct answer, you must stop, drop, and toot, but in reverse.
Okay, round two.
Which of the following statements is a true scientific wow?
Is it A...
Astronauts cannot eat beans in space because toots can actually damage their spacesuits.
Or is it B. Adults toot about 400 times a day.
Or is it C. Presidents wear special underpants that trap their toots before they can escape.
When you think you have the correct answer, shout, I found the mac and cheese!
Out of the nearest window.
Hey, Reggie!
Cue the thinking music, please.
And to reveal the winning wow, it's Tyler, Alex, and Haley.
Tyler, Alex, Haley, tell us, what's the winning wow?
My name is Alex.
My name is Hailey.
And we're from Cincinnati, Ohio.
My rap in the world is that astronauts cannot eat beans before they go into space because particles damage their spaces.
Winner, winner, beans for dinner!
Thank you, Tyler, Alex, and Hailey.
Contestants if you guessed the answer A that astronauts cannot eat beans in space because toots can actually damage their spacesuits well, you picked the winning, wow.
Congratulations.
Not only are beans banned for astronauts in space, NASA also said ex-nay on the broccoli, cabbage and sprouts due to their high emissions.
But those are some of my favorite foods.
I know, Guy Raz, but you've got to enjoy them on Earth.
Aw.
Now, if you did not get the answer correct, you must stop drop and say your grandma's name with your mouth closed.
And now for the final round, round three.
Which of the following statements is a true scientific wow?
Is it A, orangutans are the only mammals that do not pass gas?
Or is it B, scientifically speaking, Male flatulence smells worse than female flatulence.
Or is it C?
There is a performer who makes music with their own toots.
When you think you have the answer, do your best cow impression.
And we'll reveal the winning answer right after the break.

Now back to the show.
Welcome back to Two What's in a Wow.
Two What's in a Wow.
The scientific game show that separates the wows from the what's.
Now, before the break, we left you with a dangling question for round three.
The question was...
Which of the following statements is a true wow about toots?
We've given you time to decide on the correct answer.
And to reveal that winning wow, please welcome by phone Iris from New Mexico.
Iris, tell us, what's the winning wow?
Hi, my name is Iris.
My wow is that there is a man who started in time to music for entertainment.
Isn't that crazy?
Pretty bonker balls, Iris.
Winner, winner, toot for dinner.
Thank you, Iris.
Contestants.
If you guessed the answer C that there's a performer who makes music with toots, you found the winning wow.
Congratulations.
That's right, Guy Raz.
Lowe's Blaine recorded the sound of his own toot and turned it into a symphony.
Talk about tooting your own horn.
Now, if you did not get the answer correct, you must stop, drop, and sing the lowest note you can.
What was that?
Oh, Guy Raz, that sound can mean only one thing.
Uh, that someone needs to use the restroom?
No, it's time for today's Bunker Balls bonus round.
And the question for this round is... a burrito a sandwich?
Well, I feel like that's pretty easy.
The answer is no.
Hold on to your sleigh cats, Guy Raz.
Actually, according to New York law, burritos are considered a sandwich.
New York law?
Okay, well, congratulations to all of our winning wowsers on today's show.
Mindy, what's the prize?
Oh, Guy Raz, Today's winning wowsers will all receive their very own sneeze paper.
Sneeze paper?
Yeah, you know, the soft squares of paper that you blow your nose into.
Uh, you mean tissues?
Exactoritos, Guy Raz.
But sneeze paper sounds a little more appropriate for what it is.
Well, I guess.
Reggie!
Fire the prize cannon!
No!
That was the best prize cannon ever, Reg!
Well, that's just about all the time we have for today.
But before we go, we have a little scientific challenge for you.
We call it Operation That Stinks!
Wowzers, we challenge you to a smell test.
Grab a blindfold or make one of your own, and then ask a grown-up to find items from around your home or classroom that have a strong aroma.
But make sure they keep it a secret from you.
And then with your blindfold on, give those items a sniff.
And see if you can use your sense of smell to detect what you're smelling.
And don't forget to take a photo or video.
Grown-ups, you can upload those to us at Tinkercast.com slash share.
And be sure to come back on Monday for a brand new episode of Wow in the World.
And again on Friday for a new episode of Two What's in a Wow.
