Tox is looking sharp.
Whoa, Mindy, are you having a fashion show?
Oh, hey, Guy Raz.
Welcome to my 74th annual animal catwalk.
Come on, Ostrich.
Let's see some of that bipedal locomotion.
74th annual?
Mindy, you're not even 74 years old.
Not with that attitude, I'm not.
Okay, but Mindy, we have to start the... Oh, look, it's the giraffe.
Oh, so elegant.
You know, animal prints are big this season.
Yeah, but Mindy... Oh, and the cat!
Wait, is that my cat?
Uh, time for an intermission!
Hey, Rods, we've got a game show to host.
That's my cat, Alice!
Roll the tape!
And cue the cat!
I mean, curtain!
Three, two, one!
And now for everyone's second favorite game show after.
I don't know what day it is to you.
It's... Two What's and a Roll!
It's time for another hopping round of Two What's and a Wow.
Two What's and a Wow.
The scientific game show that separates the wows from the what's.
Now before we begin today's round, let's review where we left off yesterday.
We gave you three scientific statements about otters and challenged you to guess which one was.
The one true, wow.
Was it A, otters hold hands whenever they get startled? as a way of calming themselves down.
Or was it B?
Otter pups, or baby otters, spend about nine hours every day grooming their very thick fur.
Or was it C?
Otters have snack pockets in their armpits.
And in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, we've got a special guest with the answer to today's winning wow.
Please welcome Ms.
Courtney, a middle school teacher from the Gardner School of Arts and Sciences in Vancouver, Washington.
Hi, Wowzers.
My name is Courtney and I am a middle school teacher at the Gardner School of Arts and Sciences in Vancouver, Washington.
My wow to share with everybody is that otters have a Special pocket in their armpit where they can store things like rocks or other tools they might need for opening up their food.
Hope you have fun.
Bye.
Winner, winner, armpits for dinner.
And there you have it, Wowzers.
If you guessed the answer C, that otters have pockets in their armpits, you found the winning wow.
Congratulations, Ms.
Courtney, and a special thank you for all the wonderful work you're doing as a teacher.
The armpit pockets on sea otters are little flaps of loose skin located under their forearms.
Otters use their armpit pockets underwater to collect and hold food and tools until they can get back up to the rocks on the surface.
Now, if you guessed A or B, you weren't too far off.
Otters actually do hold hands, but not when they're startled.
By holding hands, they're able to stick tight with their family while floating on top of the water.
And if you guessed, B otter pups do have some pretty thick fur, but they are not yet able to groom themselves.
Instead, they rely on their mother otters to keep them fluffy and clean.
Guy Raz, why don't you tell our winning Wowzers what they won?
Well, Mindy, all of our winning contestants will take home their very own invisible armpit pockets?
Modeled after sea otters, your armpit pockets are hands-free and just what you need to tuck away snacks on the go.
Pretzels, toast, eggs, soup.
Okay, well, congratulations to all of our winning Wowzers.
We're going to take a quick break so I can check on my cat Alice.
But when we come back, it's another round of Two What's and a Wow.
Two What's and a Wow will be right back.

The category for today's round is Animal Movements.
Mindy, why don't you refresh our contestants on how the game works?
You know it.
Wowzers, we are going to present you with three statements about animal movements.
But, and this is a big but, only one. of those statements will be a true wow.
The other two, just a couple of made up what?
Okay, let's get started.
Which of the following statements about animal movements is the true scientific wow?
Is it A, muscles, a type of mollusk, walk with a tongue-like organ?
Or is it B?
Blue jays can dance to the beat of music and even adjust their moves to changing rhythms.
Or is it C?
Despite being slow, sloths are actually excellent jumpers.
One more time.
Is it A?

Is it C?

When you think you have the correct answer, write it down on a sheet of paper.
And tell all your bananas.
And then check back tomorrow to see if your wow is the winning wow.
But before we go, we have a little scientific challenge for you.
We call it Operation I Like to Move It.
We challenge you to a little imitation contest.
Write down names of animals and put the names into a hat.
Then draw a random animal from the hat and act out how that animal moves.
Play against your family members to see who is the best animal impersonator.
And be sure to snap a picture or video.
