That's it, and now let's get back to the show.
Woo hoo hoo hoo hoo!
And now for everyone's second favorite game show after Zero Gravity Hopscotch, it's two once in a while!
With your hosts, Mindy and Guy Rock!
Two once, two once, two once, two once, two once, two once, two once, and a wow.
Hello and welcome to two once in a while.
The scientific game show that separates the wows from the what's.
And the category or theme for today is the moon.
Mindy why don't you refresh our contestants on how the game works?
You know it! Wowsers in each of our three rounds today Guy, Roz, and I will present you with three scientific statements about the moon.
But, and this is a big fun, only one of those statements will be a true wow.
The other two, just a couple of made up, wass!
Now in each round if you guess correctly congratulations you win a point.
But if you guess incorrectly you must stop, drop, and do a redonkulous physical challenge.
Okay everyone ready to start the game?
Great, then let's do it!
Round 1. Which of the following statements is a true scientific wow?
Is it a, the moon is a stray planet that got caught in Earth's orbit?
Or is it b, the moon's gravity is about one sixth of the Earth's gravity, so a lot less.
Or is it c, the moon is made of tofu?
When you think you have the correct answer howl at the moon.
Hey, Reg, let's play on the thinking music!
And time is up! Let's now reveal the winning wow.
And to do just that, it's Jocelyn from Pennsylvania!
Jocelyn, tell us, what's the winning wow?
Hi, my name is Jocelyn and my wow in the world is that the moon's gravity is only about one sixth of the Earth's gravity.
Winner winner, gravity for dinner!
Thank you Jocelyn! Contestants if you guessed the answer b, that the moon's gravity is about one sixth of the Earth's gravity, well congratulations, you found the winning wow!
Gravity is the invisible force that pulls everything on Earth towards it.
That's why when you jump up, you come back down instead of floating off into space.
The moon has gravity too, but because the moon is only about 60 % as dense as Earth, the gravity is only about one sixth as strong.
So if you're on the moon and you jump up, it takes a little longer to come back down.
Now, if you did not get that answer correct, you must stop, drop, and jump all the way to the moon.
Okay, round two. Which of the following statements is a true scientific wow?
Is it a, 28 astronauts have been to the moon?
Or is it b, tardigrades are the only animal that are native to the moon?
Or is it c, when astronauts walk on the moon, their footprints stay there forever?
When you think you have the correct answer, write it down in moon dust.
Ah, thinking music please!
And time is up. And joining us by phone, it's Emmaline from Massachusetts.
Emmaline, what's the winning wow?
Hi, I'm Indian guy, Roz.
My wow in the world is that when astronauts walk on the moon, their footprints stay there forever.
There's no wind to blow them away.
Winner winner, vote votes for dinner!
That's right, Emmaline.
Wowzers, if you guessed C, that when astronauts walk on the moon, their footprints stay there forever, you found a winning wow.
Congratulations! The moon doesn't have nearly as much atmosphere as the earth does, which means that it doesn't have the same kind of weather either.
There's no wind or rain, so astronaut footprints don't blow or wash away.
But the moon does have something called space weather, like solar wind and meteoroids, which can change the surface of the moon.
So a footprint might be impacted if a meteoroid hits it.
Now, if you did not get that answer correct, you must stop, drop, and fly through space like a meteoroid.
OK, round three. Which of the following statements is a true scientific wow?
Is it A, the moon's core is full of gas?
Or is it B, there's an art museum on the moon?
Or is it C, there are secret tunnels on the inside of the moon?
When you think you have the correct answer, yell, see you later, lunar crater!
Hey, Reggie! Can we get some thinking music, please?
And time is up. And joining us by phone, it's Diana from Massachusetts.
Diana, what's the winning wow?
Hi, my name is Diana.
My wow in the world is that there's an art museum on the moon.
Winner, winner, art for dinner!
You got it, Diana. Wowzers, if you guessed B, that there's an art museum on the moon.
Well, congratulations, you found the winning wow.
In 1969, six famous artists drew tiny drawings on a small ceramic tile.
The tile was called the Moon Museum, and it was secretly attached to the Apollo 12 spacecraft, and then left on the moon.
We think that the Moon Museum is still up there, but because it wasn't an official operation, NASA has no record of it, so the only way to be sure is to go back to the moon and check.
Now, if you did not get that answer correct, you must stop, drop, and freeze like a statue.
And now it's time to take a moment to thank our sponsors.
Today's show is brought to you in part by Moon Golf.
Try the moon's favorite and only sport since 1971.
Our beautiful chorus spans the entire surface of the moon.
Lighter gravity means your ball goes farther, and thousands of craters give you more chances for a hole in one.
Moon Golf, one giant swing for moon kind.
Okay, thank you Moon Golf.
Now let's take a quick break and hear some other important messages for grownups.
Two what's in a wow?
We'll be right back.
Grownups, this message is for you.

That's tinkercast .com slash events.
That's it, we'll see you there.
That's it, now back to the show.
Welcome back to Two What's in a Wow.
Two what's in a wow?
The scientific game show that separates the wows from the what?
What was that? Oh, Gaira, that sound can mean only one thing.
Fresh farm eggs? Nope, it's time for today's Bonker Balls bonus round.
If you listen to our Wow in the World episode Yeti investigation, you will know the answer to this one.
And the Bonker Balls bonus question is the Yeti.
The abominable snowman, whatever you call it, the great white ape of the Himalayas has captured the imaginations of locals and explorers and tourists alike.
In 2017, researchers took DNA samples from nine purported Yeti artifacts.
When the results came back, eight out of the nine DNA samples belonged to what creature?
Is it A, bears? Or is it B, Japanese snow monkeys?
Or is it C, Dennis?
And with the answer to today's Bonker Balls bonus question, it's Reggie.
Reggie, tell us, what's the winning wow?
If you answered A, bears, you are correct.
Although Dennis is often mistaken for a 10 -foot tall hairy ape, researchers found that eight out of the nine samples belonged to various mountain bears around Asia.
The last sample? Well, that belonged to a stray dog.
Well, congratulations to all of our winning Wowzers, Mindy.
What's today's prize?
Hey, Roz, today's winning Wowzers will all be receiving their very own lifetime supply of moon cheese.
Uh, I don't think that's even a real thing.
Reggie, cue the prize cannon.
You can't just shoot cheese at the audience.
Fire away! Ah, Mindy, that smells horrible.
That's because it's been aging for 4 .46 billion years.
Get onto space crackers, everyone.
