Laura and I just had our breakfast here at Sophia's Garden Resort, and now we're heading to meet Heidi and Jackson.
We're going kayaking today.
We are back at Sea Dive Resort where you can rent kayaks.
When I got off my bike yesterday to take a photo, I got too close to the bike.
This is what happened.
So I'm actually gonna go grab a waterproof bandage to cover up that burn.
And I was just talking to the dive shop and they're telling us how there's actually eight warships that are sunk just out there here in Coron, and the reason is because the Japanese had invaded the Philippines and the Americans retaliated.
They had an air raid and they sank eight of these warships, and so now they make for amazing dive sites.
You can actually dive into these sunken warships.

Alright, we are just about loaded up.
I've got way too much valuable equipment right in front of me.

We have officially left the port.
We're hiding in the shade right now.

We are kayaking in the middle of a jellyfish minefield.
These jellyfish are literally the size of a soccer ball.
There's six up here, according to Heidi Jackson.

Well that's extra motivation not to fall in if my camera gear wasn't enough.
So we have now successfully crossed to the other side, and I think Corona Island is just around that bend.

So they take a little spear and they basically just try to puncture through a fish, and then you have a fish.
We started back there, then we went there, and now we're going over there.
Laura was saying we'll be the next shipwreck to visit.
An hour and a half later, maybe close to two, we have crossed the third island thingy.
Laura's morale is low.

I hate kayaking.
Guess what, we have to go all the way back up.
I'm gonna pay to get a boat today.

Looks like Heidi's contemplating some real estate investments here in the Philippines.

If you're coming to the Philippines, make sure you go out of your way to come to Coron.
It's not really that easy.
It's either a seven hour boat ride from El Nido or a fairly expensive flight.
But if you have the resources or the time, it is definitely worth it.

Well guys, we really did it today.
We went out there, we got lost, rented a kayak and had no idea where we were going.

We've hired on one of these fellow gentlemen.
For 400 pesos, he's gonna take us in that, back to there, and he'll drag our kayak.
We solved all our scars.

Well, technical difficulties are being had.
I feel accomplished for having kayaked all the way over there like I can't even imagine what it would have been like to have to come back.
Heidi and Jackson were saying their friend did it both ways, but apparently she also did it alone and I was like well, that's probably why she made it.
Laura and I were like at each other's throats by the end of like arriving and she wouldn't paddle.
And then she'd get mad at me because whatever.
We love each other still and that's what matters.
Sir, we get a discount, right?
His motor got stuck in a rope, one of the anchor ropes, so I guess he's just paddling us in.
The final countdown.
It cost 400, but we gave him 420.

I just bought some aloe vera and a little gauze pad.
My burn is not so great, but what is great is my bed.
Being in the sun all day has really taken it out of me and I just threw my phone on the ground.
But seriously, nothing beats a nice bed after a full day out.

We're gonna be separated for a week.

Christian and I are being separated for a whole week, and so I know you guys are gonna miss me, and I know Christian's gonna miss me more, but we will get through this together.
We have had an amazing six weeks and seven weeks for me.
I've had an amazing three months Thailand, the Philippines.
Amazing combination.
