That's it.
It's going to be a November to remember.
But for now, let's get on with the show.
Woo!
Let me take a look at my shopping list here.
We got 312 pounds of graham crackers.
Check.
Okay.
245 pounds of frosting.
Check.
Okay.
And 423 large eggs.
Make that 399 large eggs.
Mindy!
Guess that's everything we need for my mansion repairs.
Okay.
Another successful trip to the mall.
Does this mean we can finally go to Ice Cream?
You Scream, We All Scream for dairy-free alternatives to ice cream.
It sure does.
What flavor are you going to get?
I'll take whatever I can get that isn't melted.
You know, they don't believe in freezers at that place.
Oh, yeah.
You don't want to be stuck with ice cream soup like last time.
Yeah.
Hey, look.
A shiny penny.
That's good luck, Mindy.
Wow.
And wait a minute.
There's another one.
And another.
There's a whole trail of pennies.
What in the... Hmm.
It looks like they lead all the way from this fountain to... Okay, G-Force.
Let's go over this one more time.
Huh?
It's up, down, side to side, around the garden, electric slide.
Fingerling, don't tell me what to do.
What in the... I should have known.
Fine.
Then let's do it for real this time.
Whatever.
Whatever.
Here we go.
Up, down, side to side, round the garden and... Raisins.
Well, looks like you messed it up again, Fingerling.
I didn't mess up nothing.
Let's go again.
Here we go.
Up, down... Grandma G-Force?
Thomas Fingerling?
Don't look now, G-Force.
Somebody's staring at us.
That's weird.
Thomas Fingerling, it's me, Mindy.
Oh, it's just Mandy and Mr. Rousey.
Didn't anyone never tell you how to knock?
What?
We're in the mall, Grandma G-Force.
There's no door here.
What are you two doing here anyway?
It's a secret.
We're trying to come up with a new handshake.
A secret handshake.
But it's not working.
Well, that's because somebody ain't been practicing.
Yeah, and that someone is you, mister.
Yeah, but you ain't practicing neither.
Yes, boy.
Ooh, I love secret handshakes.
Why don't you show me what you got?
Okie doke.
You ready, G-Force?
No.
Okay, here we go.
Up, down, side to side, round the garden, electric.
Ah, fine. messed up the ending again.
Ah, it was perfect.
It was you and your big thumbs.
It ain't my big, beautiful thumbs.
It's you and your nibbly little knuckles.
Oh, who you calling nibbly?
Bring it on, old man.
Now, now, everyone, let's all just calm down a little bit.
Well, I don't have time to calm down.
I gotta fight Fingerling.
Okay, I think I have a solution.
You do?
Oh, yep.
Check it out.
Ooh, a sheet of paper.
Of course.
Why didn't I think of that?
It's not the piece of paper, Thomas Fingerling.
It's what's on the piece of paper.
Oh, well, give her here.
The Handshake Shack.
The Handshake Shack?
Uh-huh, yeah.
It's a brand new store that just opened up here at the mall.
They were giving out flyers outside the Gingerbread Supply Store.
Huh?
Let me see that.
Rude.
Just can't seem to get that new secret handshake down?
Is your lack of dexterity affecting your prosperity?
Well, fear no more.
With the latest and greatest in hand-tracking technology, one of our handshake experts can get your secret handshake and life back on track for good.
Oh, lolly.
Let's go.
G-Force needs hand-tracking technology.
Man, my big beautiful thumbs don't need no one's help.
Thank you very much.
So how would this even begin to work, Mindy?
Okay.
So, from what I understand, they would use this brand new piece of technology called the smart glove, which was originally developed by a group of electrical and computer engineers from the University of British Columbia in Canada.
And they would use this glove to help people who have had strokes.
Uh-huh.
And a stroke is what happens when not enough blood gets to the brain, right?
Right.
I mean.
Lots of different things can happen when a person has a stroke, but one of the most common effects is that they forget how to use their muscles, so they have to relearn how to move their hands around.
And that's where the smart glove comes in?
Exactoritos.
The glove is made out of all these tiny sensors that can track the hand's movement and help doctors understand better how these patients are using their hands.
Wow, that's pretty cool, Mindy.
You're telling me.
And that's the same sort of technology they use at the Handshake Shack?
Uh-huh.
Except at the Handshake Shack, they don't use it to help people who have had strokes.
They use it to fix people's handshakes.
Uh-huh.
Sounds like a much better use.
Well, it might be the only way for Grandma G-Force and Thomas Fingerling to fix their secret handshake.
Oh.
So what do you say?
Everyone in?
Right now, I thought we were going to ice cream.
You scream, we all scream for dairy-free alternatives to ice cream.
Ooh, that place has delicious ice cream soup.
It's okay, Guy Raz.
We'll go there right after.
But for now it's vitally important that we help Grandma G-Force and Thomas Fingerling fix their secret handshake.
Is it, though?
Yes.
No.
We're going to the handshake shack, okay?
All right.
I'm with Mandy.
Well, there's no need to yell about it.
Okay, yeah.
First, we just need to find a map of the mall.
Oh, over there.
Follow me, everyone.
What is that sound?
Grandma G-Force, have you been stealing pennies from the water fountain again?
No.
Well, if you haven't been stealing coins from the water fountain, then what are all those pennies doing falling out of your wrestling unitard?
Well, that's just nunya.
Nunya?
None of your business.
All right, here we are, everyone.
The mall map.
Okay, let's see here.
Snack Shack, Back Shack, Mat Quack, Rack Shack, Steak Shack, Ake Shack.
Ah, here it is.
The Hand Shake Shack.
It's just over there.
Oh, yeah, I think I see it, Mindy.
The one with the two giant hands outside it, right?
Oh, that's got to be the place, Guy Raz.
Come on, want to race?
No, thanks, Mindy.
I think I'll just... You're on, missy.
Wait, what?
Three, two, one, go!
Winner, winner!
Looks like you lose again, Fingerling.
I would have won if you hadn't tripped me.
Well, then don't have such trippable feet.
Hey there, Robbie.
You all just knocked over like three recycling bins.
Whoa.
Yeah, get a load of this place.
It's so clean.
And white.
I don't like it.
Well, well, well.
What do we have here?
If it isn't Mindy.
Mindy, do you know this person?
I don't think so.
How did you know my name?
It's written on your shirt.
Oh, yeah.
I forgot I did that.
You aren't by any chance related to Magnet Mike, are you?
You mean Magnet Mike from Magnet Mike's Modern Magnet Megastore on the third floor?
Oh, yeah.
Remember that guy?
Yeah, don't they sound a little similar?
Yeah, they sound like they could also be the same person.
Yeah!
Well, we're not the same person.
Okay.
I'm Handshake Harry.
Oh, yeah, that's a very different name.
Indeed.
So, how can I help you today?
Well, we got a handshake that needs fixing.
Excellent.
Then you've come to the correct place.
Please, follow me into our analysis room.
Okey-doke.
Whoa.
Walk, walk, walk.
Yes, yes.
So, what happens now, Mr. Fancy Pants?
Now, your glove fitting.
Let me see your hands.
You can see them fine from there.
Indeed I can.
Yes, interesting.
Very interesting.
What?
A slight alteration of the distal phalanx on your right index finger.
Say what?
I knew it.
And you, sir.
Who, me?
You have a proximal polymer crease.
Indubitably.
I do not know what that is.
While your hands are unique, there is a glove to fit and a shake to be secreted.
Wow.
Wait here.
I shall return.
Here's a neat feller.
I wonder where he's gone.
He probably went to go get a pair of those smart gloves we were talking about before.
You know, the ones that track your hand movements.
I still don't understand how that's going to help with their... I have returned.
Ooh, and he's got a big old shiny box.
Now we're talking.
May I present to you the latest and greatest in the world of hand tracking technology.
Very impressed.
Those are some fancy-looking gloves.
Yes, Mr. Fingerling.
Gloves woven with a sophisticated network of sensor yarns.
Cool, dude.
A luxuriously stretchy fabric that can track, capture and transmit even the smallest of hand and finger movements.
Okay, boy, now say that again in real words.
Well uh, Oh.
What he's trying to say is that it's a glove that can record and remember how your hands move.
Grandma G-Force.
And then I'm guessing it sends that information to some sort of computer.
Exactly.
Exactly.
Wow, I can't even see any wires or doodads on them or nothing.
Yes, thanks to the advancement in hand tracking technology.
Sweet.
In previous years, we've relied on bulky camera equipment to track a patient's hand movement.
Okay.
But now, tracking hand movement is as simple as slipping on a glove.
Well, that isn't nearly as exciting as you think it is, Mr. Handshake.
You're absolutely right, Ms.
G-Force.
Allow me to demonstrate.
Smart gloves connected.
And now.
Watch as I use my hands to communicate.
What's he doing with his hands there?
Huh.
I think that's sign language.
Hello.
It is me, Handshake Harry.
Oh, snap.
I am signing this conversation.
What in the World Wide Web?
I can understand him.
The gloves are tracking my hands and translating my language into speech.
Whoa.
Voila.
Wow.
That is so cool.
Indeed.
But I suspect you didn't come here for lessons in sign language.
Oh, no, sir.
We came here for help with a handshake.
Ah, yes.
Of course.
Miss Geforce.
Mr. Fingerling.
Please put on these gloves.
Okey-doke.
My palms are sweaty.
Okay, connecting to the computer.
Smart gloves connected.
Ooh, excellent.
Now, why don't you two show me this secret handshake of yours?
No, it's a secret.
Oh, pretty please.
Okay.
Ready, G-Force?
Well, okay.
Here we go.
Up, down, side to side, round the garden, electric slug.
Yeah, horse riding.
Oh, way to go, Fingerling.
Okay, let's take a look at the hand-tracking results.
Hmm, very interesting.
Very interesting indeed.
Wait, what is it?
What's interesting?
Is it bad?
No, it's not bad.
Oh, really?
Now, I believe that if you, Mr. Fingerling, were to move your forearm an inch this way... Like this?
Perfect, yes.
And you, Miss G-Force, if you could rotate your wrist 90 degrees that way.
Well, I cannot.
Well, uh... Okay, I'll do it.
There we are.
And now, try the handshake again.
All right, G-Force, here we go again.
Up, down, side to side, round the garden, electric slide, fist bump, cha-cha-cha, boomtown!
Booyah! baby.
We did it!
Yay!
Good job, you two!
All it took was a little help from some fancy new hand tracking technology, the Handshake Harry.
Yeah, thanks again for fitting us in.
Hey, where'd Handshake Harry go?
Huh.
Wow, up and disappeared.
That's classic Handshake Harry for you.
No, I'm right over here.
But now, I will bid you adieu.
Ta-ta!
Swoosh!
That's weird.
That's classic handshake Harry for you.
Well, I'm just glad we were able to fix that handshake of yours.
And I'm glad that we're finally able to get some of that ice cream.
Yay!
Ice cream party!
Come on, everyone, before it all turns to soup.
Oh, I like the ice cream soup.
Oh, that's some store, Mindy.
Yeah, although something tells me it'll be replaced with another ice cream soup store in a month.
Don't say that, Mindy.
It's okay, Guy Raz. the technology behind it will live on.
You mean the smart gloves?
Yeah.
I have to say, it's pretty impressive.
Right, and it's not just handshaking.
Yeah, I mean, translating sign language, helping people relearn how to use their hands.
Who knows what else this device could be used for?
Only time will tell, Guy Raz.
Speaking of which, Mindy, we only have ten more minutes until the ice cream store closes.
Oh, no!
Okay, last one to the ice cream shop is a rotten Greg.
Oh, no!
Why are we always running around balls?
Wait, Mindy, wait up!
Wow in the World will be right back.
