Hello everybody.
This is teacher Levi.
We'll be making another slow English video today.
It is nice and early and I want to make a day in the life video so I can showcase different things.
It will actually be more than one day, because now I'm on the train and I wanted to film because nobody's here.
It's just me.
So it's the perfect opportunity to film.
Plus, there's a lot of privacy, which I like.
We have these curtains, the door, we have the window with the curtains as well.
We have a screen so I can see where we are on the map, and we also have this window sorry mirror, this mirror or mirrors and we have lights up here for reading.
So I'll be on this train for a few hours.
And then today there will be a lot of classes.
But I hope to film some activities for you to see and to learn some English.
So that's the plan.
Stay tuned for updates on the book.
I still haven't received it.
So when I do receive it, I will give an update on my YouTube and start scheduling the first live stream for the book challenge.
So, all right, good morning everybody.
I am in my robe today.
This morning I wanted to share about shaving.
Okay, for the men and women okay, so we'll talk about that.
I will show some things and then today we'll have Bible study a little later and then I will head out.
I have some plans, but I need to clarify some details, or details, as some people say.
So it will be a good day, a busy, be able to film different things and showcase different activities.
So that's the idea.
Obviously, we can also brush our teeth in the morning, but I wanted to show shaving.
Forgive me for the lighting, so it's very weak, so I apologize for that, but we'll go through the morning routine.
Then we have toothpaste and a tooth brush.
We put toothpaste on the toothbrush.
Then we add some water.
Okay.
It's better with water.
And then we brush our teeth to brush our teeth.
I like to rinse out, to rinse out my mouth with some water.
And then to spit is the verb that you just saw.
Okay.
So then we put the cap back on.
Now we'll do shaving.
Okay, so first we wet the skin like this.
Then we get our shaving cream.
This is actually not.
It's more of a face rub, or face skin rub, just to show it's foamy.
See, we apply it to her face.
Okay, that's good, we get our razor.
Okay, this is a razor, Obviously looking in the mirror.
Remember mirror?
Okay.
We can go down or we can go up.
Depends on what people prefer to do.
I already shaved this morning and as I was shaving, I remembered that I should film it.
So now I'm shaving again and then after this you can take a shower.
Okay, I won't film that today, but that is the obvious next step in a morning routine.
Okay, sometimes you can cut yourself and Okay.
You want to wash off your face.
Okay.
And then we're done.
Now dry your face or dry off.
Okay.
All right, so I got done with the Bible study.
I should have filmed, but it's online.
We can say online and offline.
So it's online.
It's not so exciting to film as in person, but it's still great.
It's a great experience.
I was writing.
I'll show you a glimpse.
Some of you might know what this is, but i will talk about it more in the future.
But now we have to get dressed and we'll be going out, or i'll be going out and film a little as well.
So I'll show you what I will put on, to put on clothes.
Okay, so I want to walk through some clothes that we have.
A lot of students know that I like button down shirts.
We can see the buttons, buttons, buttons, so button down shirt.
And this is a t-shirt, a white t-shirt.
And we'll wear this.
We'll button up the shirt.
And then tuck in, this is tuck in our shirt.
Then I got this jacket.
Some might say it's similar to a sports jacket.
It's not very formal, but it is somewhat formal because there will be an event, a performance, like a music dance performance that I got invited to.
I got invited to, so this will be a little more appropriate to wear.
I understand those of you who are into fashion.
This might not be the best color coordination, but i think to improvise it's okay.
So i think this will do with the jacket, this pocket i don't know it comes out or it can go down into the pocket, so But this is it.
And then if I'm allowed, I will try to film part of the performance.
I'm not sure.
I hope they will or they won't see.
Maybe I'll try to do it without them seeing a little piece, and just so you can experience it.
Experience it as well.
So, and i'll finish off my tea, that's good.
Okay, we were on our way to get some food before the event and we had to make a pit stop.
A pit stop is usually for cars, but we can say as an analogy for stopping in somewhere quickly.
So i came to the bathroom of this place and look at this vintage picture, real nice vintage i think we have talked about as well before.
I just wanted to, or wanted to share, Hey guys.
So we've arrived inside the premises or the building.
I probably won't be able to film the performance, so I'm giving a little snippet, or a little piece of the inside of this building, which I really like.
If I step out here, you can see this inner courtyard or similar to that, and we'll have in a few minutes the performance starting starting.
So i will be going there now.
I just wanted to show this and hopefully, let's see, maybe i can get a little clip from inside the performance room.
All right, so we got a little sneak peek or a little footage footage inside the room, inside the room where they had the performance, but it wasn't the actual performance itself, unfortunately.
So my apologies.
Maybe next time I can make something happen.
I wanted to say just something that came up recently about sometimes versus some time.
We always say sometimes with an S, unless we're saying sometime like at some time at some point.
For example, I had to think sometime during the day, today I will go get ice cream, versus sometimes I like to go get ice cream, or sometimes I like to go get ice cream on the weekends.
Hey guys, so you might notice someone who's been on the channel before.
I'll let Luke say a few words.
God bless you guys.
Nice to say hello again.
I hope you're all having a beautiful day or night, depending on where you are in the world.
And I hope you have a great week.
Just one question for Luke.
Since he's learning languages, he's learning Hungarian, which is a difficult language.
And he's given some advice for the members.
I would like him to just give a short summary of his progress and what he's learned recently from the language learning process.
Good question.
I'm getting ready to take an exam that will hopefully give me my dual citizenship with Hungary, and one of the main things I've been working on in the last few months is just feeling confident, trying to speak all the time.
So I don't have to get everything right all the time, but just feeling confident and approaching it with a good attitude is essential for me.
There you go.
Now we'll go have some fun together.
But that was it.
I just want to bring a familiar face back to the videos.
Take a look at what arrived in the mail today.
Arrived in the mail.
Let's open it together.
But I have been waiting for this package for some time.
It took longer than expected, but finally my book i survived.
This is a series, so i picked this one because i remember in school we learned about Pompeii, and Pompeii is in Italy somewhere, maybe in Sicily, I think it's in the southern part of Italy.
So we learned about that, about the volcano eruption, and I thought it was fascinating.
Now this is, I think, a fictional story.
I think, in reality, everybody died, if I'm not wrong, very quickly, but let's see if this book is any good.
I was recommended um, like i said, by a student, a viewer, and this is, i think, good for our level, for what we're doing.
So i want to announce officially that we will have the book challenge on tuesday, next tuesday.
So today is february 13th, so that will be 14 50, 17th february, 17th tuesday, we'll have the book challenge live stream.
So we're going to have uh, the live stream for the book and let's do the first three chapters, let's do more, let's do the first.
So, first six chapters, okay.
So, until page 32.
Okay, so chapter seven that's where um, we'll stop.
So, the first six chapters until page 32.
32. for Tuesday.
If your book hasn't arrived, then you can maybe find the audio version or the PDF online and you can quickly look for that and read it or listen to it.
And we'll discuss those first six chapters on Tuesday at the usual time.
Usually the live streams are 7 p.m. or 8 p.m.
CET.
And universal time, I forgot, maybe 6 p.m. universal time, but I will post on YouTube.
It will be on Tuesday and I'll put the exact time, but it will be the same or similar as the last live streams, so about the same time.
Also, I will be posting a video recently of an update a while back.
A while back, I filmed a video at a construction site.
It was a renovation to repair, to fix up a building.
We can say to renovate.
So the video was about a renovation.
I was sitting, sitting on the wall of a building, a house, and that building has.
There's been some progress uh, since i filmed that video, so i want to uh put that into the next video.
I'll go out and film, uh an update as part of the progress.
We'll talk about some pieces or some parts of the inside, because now you can actually see the two floors upstairs, downstairs.
You can slightly see the rooms.
It's not finished, but you have a better layout than when I first filmed.
So I want to do that and describe some components so that when you also have the chance to talk about your house or your room, the setup, the layout of a building, you can have this vocabulary and these expressions.
So that will be next time.
I'll do it as part of the video.
I don't want to do the whole video on that, but that was the big announcement is finally, we're getting back to the book challenge and to.
To reiterate, because I've said this before, the reason we do this is to get in the habit of reading consistently.
As you know, reading is part of the four pillars.
Pillars.
Reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
Listening, reading sometimes with the subtitles or captions and these YouTube videos you can practice listening, but having a book consistently, or a new book consistently that you're reading in English is very useful and it puts English into your routine, which we have talked about before, so I'm excited about that.
On Tuesday, I will post the exact time on what time on Tuesday we'll have the live stream.
But thank you for the support.
Thank you for the feedback.
If you would like to have lessons you can find the link in the description i've had now many people say the link wasn't working and i think the reason was that youtube shortened the link but the link in the about section works but anyways i think i fixed it so it should work you support these video videos like and subscribe and i'll see you next time with uh some new updates and hopefully before that or before then i'll see you on the live stream on tuesday so thank you and have a good day bye Thank you.
