I swear back to school season comes faster and faster every year, but I am not complaining.
I absolutely love this time of year.
I am so ready for fall and I want to make you guys as excited as I am.
So, as I talked about in my last back to school video, I am an be making so much back-to-school content this year because so many of my subscribers are students.
I graduated college with straight A's and honors, I made the Dean's List and I honestly have so much to share, from study advice to my essentials that got me through school and we are starting out with one of my favorite videos that today I'm going back to school supply shopping, and this is like a tradition.
I love filming this video every year, so much so I am headed over to the store.
I can't wait to show you guys what I get, So let's do it.
Okay, we're starting in the pen section.
These are my favorite to look at.
So I like to get a couple different ones because I love note taking and color coding my notes.
These pink ones, of course, are the first that I saw.
I love that they're all different shades of pink.
I do like these assorted packs.
This brand is my favorite.
I feel like they always just look so good.
These colors are also really cute.
Is that a white pen?
No way.
I think it's probably black, right?
I have no idea, but no way that's a white pen, right?
That'd be kind of cool.
But this pack is also so nice and this pack is the mega one.
I always like to get a good pack of black pens.
Um, because i know those are what i'm gonna use the most.
I think i'm gonna go with these because this is my favorite brand.
I swear my writing looks better when i use these, like the ink comes out so smoothly.
So i'm gonna get the black ones of these and then maybe i'll get another set in a bunch of different colors.
The pink set is really cute, so are these purple ones.
There's also these which have a bunch of different colors.
I really like this brand too, but this brand never really worked that well.
I feel like they run out of ink so fast, so i don't usually get these anymore.
These are like the felt tip pens, but the colors are really cute.
I think i have to go with the pink set.
These are so cute.
Okay, I don't need a new pair of scissors, but these are so cute.
I love the floral.
I also love these blue ones.
The color is so pretty.
And then there's these rulers.
I really like the flexible ones because they're so much easier to carry in my bag.
And the clear ones makes it so much easier to see what you're doing.
These cheaper pens are always so nice to get too though, because i always end up losing some during the school year, so i would just get the black ones, and they actually write really nicely too, and they're a lot better priced than some of the other packs.
I always use mechanical pencils.
These are my favorite.
These are just the cutest.
I love this yellow one, and i like just these three packs.
I wish there were more color options in the three packs, like i want these three, So I think I'm just gonna go with the black ones.
But these also work so nicely.
I also love that it comes with so many colors.
This one is super cute.
Also, this is so random, but I love that these pencils come sharpened.
It also comes with so many and this little eraser set is kind of perfect.
These boxes are so cute too.
I love this color, but I think these are the best erasers.
I even use these for a lot of my art classes and they work so good and they also last for so long.
I used to get these all the time, but I literally used to chew on them.
I also used to love using index cards.
These wide ones are so nice because there's so much more space on here to study from.
I also love the color coded ones.
I used to use a different color for each class.
I'm definitely going to make a study video and I'll show you guys how I use the color coded ones.
But I see they have these post-it ones, which I kind of like more because I can stick them in my notebook.
So I might skip the index cards and get the post-its instead.
Okay, here are some more post-it options.
I love that they have graph paper ones.
These would be absolutely perfect for math, because every time I have to graph something, I hate making my own graph in my notebook.
So sticking these into my notes would be so perfect.
Definitely gonna get these.
And then here are regular post-it notes.
I like the ones with the lines.
It just makes me feel so much more organized.
And this one comes with four different colors.
There are also these, which are just like an index card size.
And these, but I think they would be way too small.
I think I'm going to go with this pack.
Actually, I don't know.
Both of these are pretty cute.
I'm kind of just deciding on which colors I like more because they're both the same.
I think I'm going to go with these.
I think this will be plenty and they're half the price.
I love this backpack.
This is so cute.
The beige with the brown.
I also never really used a binder because it took up so much space in my bag, but I really like these one-inch ones.
I feel like that would be really perfect to stay organized, and I love the pockets inside.
The white is cute, but I also really like this light pink one.
I feel like this color would match everything, but it's still a little bit more fun.
I might honestly just get both.
No, I don't need both.
I think I'm gonna put both in my cart and then whichever one matches the rest of my supplies I'm gonna keep.
I just think the pink one is so cute, but I know the white would match more.
Okay, next for notebooks.
I always get the college ruled ones.
I like this size because I can use them for multiple subjects.
They also last me the entire semester.
And I like having everything in one place.
I also really like the white.
I feel like it looks so clean and it'll match my binder.
This color is also really cute.
It's just so small, like that would not last me that long.
The pink too, is very cute.
I also always get graph paper.
Sometimes i get graph paper notebooks.
I also like the loose leaf ones, but since i found these, i don't think i'm gonna get any because these are so perfect.
I'm so excited for these.
So here is what we have so far, and next we can look at the pencil cases.
I usually like the ones like these, that are like pouches that sit in your backpack, instead of these that go in your binder, but i really like this pink one.
It's so cute.
I kind of like that you can see everything in it right here, and i feel like it'll save so much space in my bag, because i hate when my bag gets really heavy, Especially because I take notebooks, but I also take my laptop to school.
Especially in college.
A lot of my professors didn't like me taking notes on my laptop, but some preferred it.
So you really never know.
So I think I'm going to go with this one.
And it matches both of these binders really well.
I think it might match the white one more, just because it's kind of a different shade of pink.
Okay, so next for the highlighters and markers.
I have always wanted this set.
These are so cute and i love the size of them.
I also just love these colors and i think this is the year i finally get them.
I'm so excited.
Like these would just look so cute in this pencil bag too.
I've always wanted one of these water bottles.
The colors on this one is really cute.
Have you guys seen the pink one of these?
It is so cute.
I want mine to match like all of my outfits, so I think I would wait for the pink one.
But I love taking a water bottle to school because it makes me actually drink water.
Okay, so here are the calculators.
I always get these.
It always works for my classes, except I did use a graphing calculator in statistics and look how cute this one is.
I love the pink.
That is so cute.
Those calculators were actually crazy to use.
They're like a hundred dollars, but luckily my school supplied them.
So I didn't have to spend a hundred or 150 on a calculator, but they are just so cute.
Like both of these are so cute.
I love this pink one.
Oh my God.
These also are really nice.
Just the scientific ones.
That's what I usually get.
I kind of like this color.
The pink is cute too, but it's like dark pink, so i feel like the white one is really nice.
I think i have one just like this, though i never really took a lunch box to school, but i do like these for like, meal prepping.
These make it so easy so i can make like a super fancy lunch like this at night and then have it ready to go in the morning.
But honestly, i took a brown paper bag and it worked perfect.
This one would be really cute, though.
This is the Hydro Flask pink one, and I love it.
It's really big.
It would definitely fit a lot of stuff, but it definitely would not fit in my bag.
It also has this pocket in front, which is really cute.
I actually really like this one.
It's so cute.
I just love this color.
I always love starting a new book at the start of the new school year, so i need to pick one for this year.
I've been seeing this one everywhere and i feel like it's the perfect one to start fall with.
It's also just so cute.
I know they have a couple in this series i don't know if they all tie together, though but i feel like this one would just be so perfect for this season, and i've heard it's really good, so i think i'm gonna get this one.
I heard there's also a coloring book that goes with this one, but I don't see it.
That would be so cute though.
I also randomly just watched this movie like two nights ago.
I'd been wanting to watch it for a while.
And this one I've also heard is really good.
I have so many on my list to read.
I actually just bought this one not too long ago and I have yet to read it.
There's just so many that are on my list.
Here are some more notebooks and planners.
My thing with planners is I use them for like the first month and then I totally forget about them.
I actually have been using a planner on my iPad and I found that that made a big difference.
This notebook is really cute though.
I also really like this one.
I just wish you could take the pages out more easily.
I also love all these paper calendars, but the same thing, like I would use this for like a week.
And then I would just move back to my iPad because it's so much more convenient.
I do like this though.
Like for my fridge, this would be really cute.
Wait, you guys, I just found a blue set.
This one is so pretty and it really matches my nails.
This one is so cute.
Now I don't know which one to choose.
I did find these pencils, which I've never seen before.
These are so cool.
They're all like mismatched.
I actually really like that.
That's exactly what I was looking for earlier.
So I think I'm going to replace the black ones with these.
These are just so cute.
I love how they did that.
Okay, I was going to go with the pink binder because I really like the color, but I've decided to go with the white one because it matches the bag that I bought so much better.
I am so excited to show you guys which one I picked.
I've been really into like bags instead of backpacks and I bought like my dream one.
So I'll be showing you guys that in another back to school video, but I'm going to go with the white.
Wait, this one is so cute.
These are actually perfect to take my iPad in.
I've never seen this before.
It's like an iPad organizer and it has pockets for your cords and whatever you need.
I also really like the pink one.
I was not planning to get this, but I think this is actually perfect.
And I always get scared of my iPad breaking.
So this way it's a little more secure.
And also for traveling, this would be so perfect.
I do want to film a cute school supplies emergency kit.
I loved having like a little case in my bag that had all of my essentials.
Like this I think would be so perfect.
Also, this is so random, but I've really been needing to buy an extension cord.
So I'm going to get that while I'm here too.
And I kind of like this one.
It's like light gray and white.
Oh, 15 feet is crazy.
That's so funny though.
I need that too.
I'm gonna share an entire school supplies haul in an upcoming video, but I wanted to show you guys the highlights of what I purchased in this video.
Starting off with this iPad cover.
I am so excited for this.
I did not know this was a thing.
Also, this color is like so adorable.
This is like the exact shade of pink that's my favorite, but this is a little pouch to keep your iPad cords, your pens.
I kind of want to open it up right now.
I am just so excited for this.
This is going to be so perfect.
It's so simple, but this is going to add so much extra protection to my iPad.
I also love taking notes on my iPad.
I'm going to talk about all of that in an upcoming video, but this is going to be so perfect.
Also, this planner I think is just so adorable.
I wasn't really planning to get a planner, but I saw this one and I was like This cover alone motivates me to write in a planner.
I am so in love.
I also just love the idea of writing more on pen and paper.
I feel like when I write stuff like physically out instead of typing, I have much better memorization.
So, especially with a planner to keep me on track, I think this is gonna save me, especially on deadlines.
I have to mention these highlighters.
Guys, I have wanted this exact planner pack of highlighters for years.
Like, if you watch all of my school supplies shopping videos, i think i always mention this pack because it is just the prettiest pack ever.
Um, it's been on my wish list for a while, so i am so excited to finally have it.
I can't wait to use these.
I really hope they're like insanely good, because my expectations, after waiting years to get them, is very high, but they are just so pretty.
I love the colors.
I love the size.
I feel like these will be so easy to carry around and they'll be perfect for in this planner too.
Like i really want to color code and get super organized.
So that's what we're gonna do.
