While evolutionary anthropologist Charles Musiba expressed caution, noting the need for further evidence, he acknowledged that the findings strongly suggest intentional body disposal. If confirmed, this would be a significant discovery, as burial practices have traditionally been ascribed primarily to humans.

The Evolution of Laughter: From Primates to Humans

Finally, the episode delved into the evolutionary origins of human communication through the study of great apes. Primatologist Chiara De Gregorio and her team researched the "tempo of laughter" in orangutans, gorillas, chimpanzees, and bonobos, publishing their findings in Communications Biology.
