Thank you.
I just got here today.
I needed to order myself some dinner.
I got a lot of work done on the airplane.
I had like a whole list of tasks I had been putting off and just ultra focused banging each one out.
Now I have ordered myself dinner and I'm taking a little break watching emergency intercom.
Ordered myself some ramen.
I wanted to give you guys a ramen review.
Ooh, okay.
Crispy beautiful.
Oh, this is from Silver Lake Ramen, by the way.
It was close by.
So got on DoorDash and I said, yes, please.
Look, this is what we're working with.
We got some green onion in there.
Chicken.
I got chicken.
I know that that's probably not, I'm, I can't eat pork.
So I thought this was the next best thing.
These noodles look good.
Okay.
Yeah, that's good.
Okay, but we gotta try this first.
Hold on.
First.
Well, we already ate like a quarter of that.
I've never had crispy rice before.
I've always wanted to try it.
Ooh.
Crisp.
I don't think you... I don't know if you can hear that.
But it's crispy.
Was it crispy?
Right, right.
So, what is up with me?
Get with it.
Let's try this again.
I could use some soy sauce.
It's quite good.
I mean, it just tastes like sushi, like a spicy tuna roll, but the rice is crispy, which I don't know if I
But I see why it's fun.
I'm sure it's good when it's like fresh and hot.
I'm gonna eat this I'm just gonna get back to my YouTube dinner situation.
I know you know how it is.
I hope maybe you're watching me and doing that.
I'm editing some photos right now for my friend and some photos of an event that I just worked.
I floral, designed with my good friend who's a production designer.
I made flower arrangements for the VIP Formula One party.
Formula One happens every year at this time.
Actually, I have no idea when you're seeing this video, to be honest.
This could be coming out in like December.
Definitely not January.
We're gonna get all my- I have so many videos in the pipeline that just need to get out.
Editing some really stuff from that.
It started as a hobby that I adored, and now it is something that I did for a job, for money, which is freaking awesome.
And I just want to continue to do more and more.
There's so much I have to learn.
I would love to be mentored by an incredible floral designer or florist in general.
I'm manifesting that. it's gonna happen.
I definitely have like a passion and an eye for it, you could say, but I definitely want to perfect my technical skills and also like transporting and keeping everything.
Like every flower is so different, they all have such different moods and they're so delicate the petals and the stems and everything and I feel like intuitively, I've sort of learned how to treat them based on the feel of them.
But also when it comes to more delicate flowers like ranunculus, or I was working with a bunch of delphinium
I feel like I could do even better in the future, so I need to just continue to educate myself, teach myself online, but hopefully get more in-person experience under some sort of mentor and just doing it myself, like we just did.
My best friend.
I've watched her work her way up to be a production designer and just like an art director and all these things.
So It's just really awesome to see that and to be inspired by the people around you and to get really cool opportunities from around you as well.
Like people who want to bring you in and see you succeed.
It makes it easy when everybody's doing something they love.
So I just love like collaborative group projects like that.
I hope to continue to meet more.
There's a bunch of people online that I would love to in real life.
I really adore my online community and, just like fellow youtubers and poets and all these things, it's so fun to to see people pursue things that you once felt so alone in or you once felt like you were being so weird and no one was gonna care.
And then, like you know, obviously people caring and finding community through the internet is awesome and then watching other people pursue what you want to do or be inspired to pursue what you're doing
Like, it's just, it's really cool.
The effects are cool.
A lot of the time, I focus on the negative impacts of social media.
I'm actually watching a video right now about, like, consuming versus creating.
We're all meant to create in our own ways, different ways.
It doesn't have to be art, necessarily.
It can be through creating conversation, or creating movement, or about anything, you know?
Just like expressing something outwardly into the world instead of sitting and analyzing and consuming all the time.
I think there's incredible things to consume and to learn, but the over consumption that we can do to our brains and our bodies is it's so easy to do these days like we don't even have to try to over consume.
It's just like fed to us constantly tick tock algorithms that know exactly what we want to see, and i treat my phone like a vape or something like i don't know how.
I see like my friends who vape and like they need their vape and like just to grab the vape, like that's how I am with my phone and how I think a lot of us are.
It's just like if it's not in sight, it's like and then like a notification.
There's just like that dopamine in your brain and that's like you can avoid it.
You can delete social media and limit your screen time.
But also Sorry, I'm so low energy right now.
But also, I think there is a balance that can be found.
We're all trying to find that balance, I guess.
1%.
Okay, I have 10 minutes left of this upload.
I've been trying to upload this video all day.
My Wi-Fi is not very swell here.
It's not too good.
So I am slowly uploading this youtube video.
You guys will see it soon.
My dark circles are out to play.
It is 8 pm in california right now, but it is 10 pm in my circadian rhythm and body, so i'm, i'm getting there.
I'm an old lady, guys these days, i mean, and i'm fine with that, i'm fine with that.
I Sorry, I love my cozy nights in.
I love to go to bed early and I like to wake up early, but I don't always wake up early.
So I got my nails done.
You can't tell, but they're like a lavender-ish iridescent purple.
Wow, they look like the same color as my under eye circles.
Whoa.
They literally do.
Exactly.
I got them this color because I am seeing my friends perform at the Roxy tomorrow, which is so exciting.
My friend Carissa is performing her spoken word beat poetry.
It's so cool, you guys.
It's like revolutionary.
Her style is so amazing.
She's just like a really incredible storyteller.
I've never heard beat poetry like this in my life, so I just can't wait to see it live.
That's why I'm here right now, technically.
I mean, we're doing a few other things, but that is the main purpose.
But yeah, really happy with this color, the under eye circle color.
First in line at the box office at the Revolutionary.
You wish you were a performance at the rock scene.
My smothering dragon breath fills every rimmel with barbarous, filthy peonies born of my soul.
Wild, venomous, dog-eaten, damn it, carnivorous.
River, water, blue, and great contains everything.
I cross my fingers and toes.
All creatures in the hell flow.
The river flows full of sin and law, and earth holds her head under to take a deep breath, to feel her death all the way through.
A creature's stomach boils and bleeds until it holds time.
Again, a fish, the tail of the hare, the tail of the sheep, the whole thing.
The Roxy!
First beat poet, first poet, first poetry performance at the Roxy!
So beautiful!
I'm liking that.
We don't want to do a line-by-line situation.
So, I liked how you performed that.
That was a good performance.
Thank you.
Again, so actually, I think... Stanza by stanza.
Running through sun showers, miles at a time, a celebratory shimmer of the world passing me by.
Let's do one more take at this last part.
Okay.
A celebratory shimmer of the world passing me by.
I'm learning how to do this.
Ride a new wave of life.
It's almost in front of me.
Each stroke at a time.
Crushing in spring water tonight.
Light years of guidance.
I can feel their eyes.
I can look at... Um, to question the trees.
Oh, oh yeah.
Ah, I see.
I, uh...
I was almost smart enough.
Almost.
Coconut water.
Papaya.
Sushi platter.
Salmon and tuna.
Favorite jasmine green tea.
And last but not least, a persimmon.
Let's show them the way you do it.
