Here's the news.
As concert fever continues, Enterings are generating ripple effects far beyond ticket sales.
For example, in Nanning in South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Jay Chou's concerts attracted over 140000 attendees.
In the course of three days, the events generated roughly 12 billion yuan in local spending, with more than 85 of this spending contributed by visitors from outside the city.
Fu Yifu, a researcher at Jiangsu Siu Merchants Bank, said that concerts, as highly attractive cultural activities, have emerged as powerful catalysts for the cultural tourism industry.
In addition to ticket revenue, Fu added that concerts generate consumption across sectors, including accommodation dining transport tourism, shopping and entertainment.
According to the China Association of Performing Arts, every ¥1 spent on a ticket generates an additional 48 yuan in related local spending.
Recognizing the economic boost generated by concerts, policymakers are taking steps to further support the sector.
In March, The Ministry of Commerce pledged to help certain cities transform into international consumption centers by backing more high-level international sports events and performance shows.
Local governments are also racing to capture the momentum, treating concert calendars as opportunities to showcase their cities.
Approval processes for performances have been streamlined and incentives are being rolled out to attract top artists and compete for fans.
Shenyang in Northeast China's Liaoning Province allows concert goers with ticket stubs to use ride-hailing services at a 40 discount or to enter major scenic spots at half price.
The city of Haikou in South China's Hainan Province meanwhile, has leveraged its visa-free entry policy to lure overseas performers and fans, while offering rewards of up to several million yuan for organizers who bring in large-scale concerts and music festivals.
According to Zhu Ke Li, Founding Dean of the China Institute of New Economy, in the long run, concerts can enhance a city's cultural identity and appeal, attracting more events and investment, which creates a virtuous cycle that continues to drive consumption upgrades.
Beijing's new energy vehicle production surged past 310000 units in the first seven months of this year, exceeding its total output for the entire previous year.
That is according to the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology.
Production in July alone reached 52000 new energy vehicles, representing a significant year-on-year increase of 140.
This growth is evident at facilities like Xiaomi's Auto Super Factory in the Beijing Economic Technological Development Area, where round-the-clock shifts and robotic arms hum with activity.
An official from the bureau said surging models such as Xiaomi's SU7 and YU7 led companies to optimize production through smart tech upgrades so as to boost equipment utilization and efficiency to accelerate deliveries.
Boosted by advanced manufacturing sectors like new energy vehicles electronics, intelligent equipment, new energy storage and aerospace, Beijing's industrial momentum has been expanding extensively.
The city's electronics manufacturing sector soared 242 year-on-year in the period from January to July, contributing 35 percentage points to overall industrial growth.
Intelligent equipment grew 86, featuring sharp increases in lithium-ion battery production and wind turbine output.

In the suburbs of Beijing...
Groups of Mi Lu deer grazed leisurely in meadows on the banks of the Yong Ding River, their fawns playfully splashing in the water nearby.
This serene picture once seemed almost unbelievable, considering that these creatures had been declared extinct in China.
Bai Jiade, director of the Beijing Milu Ecological Research Center, said that 40 years ago, Twenty-two Mi Lu deer were returned to China from the United Kingdom, marking the comeback for the species.
Its population has since grown to over 14000 through artificial breeding and reintroduction into the wild.
Mi Lu deer are endemic to China, where they bear the nickname Si Bu Xiang or, like none of the four, due to their unique features a horse's face, a donkey's tail, cow-like hooves and a stag's antlers.
A total of 77 Mi Lu deer were brought back to Nanhaizi and to Yancheng City in East China's Jiangsu Province starting in August 1985, in three batches.
Bai said that they aim to sustain the Mi Lu Deer's population, ensure their healthy reproduction, preserve genetic diversity and rebuild a wild population.
Since the return of the Mi Lu deer, scientists have achieved breakthroughs in disease control, breeding and genetics.
A genetic resource bank for Mi Lu deer has been established to preserve genetic diversity, and measures have been implemented to prevent inbreeding, thereby reducing the incidence of animal diseases.
Additionally, Mi Lu deer have been relocated to various places to establish new herds.
Paving the way for their reintroduction to the wild.
Bai said that the significance of Mi Lu Deer conservation extends far beyond the continuation of a single species.
By grazing plants like reeds in wetland ecosystems, Mi Lu deer effectively prevent dominant species from overbreeding, thus preserving the habitat for other plants.
Bai referred to Mi Lu Deer as engineers of the wetland ecosystem.
They naturally regulate the ecological balance through their life activities.
China has established 95 Mi Lu deer reserves across 26 provincial-level regions and has established the National Conservation and Research Center for Mi Lu.
Elizabeth Maruma Mrema, former executive secretary of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, hailed China's protection work on Mi Lu deer as a reference model for the protection of other endangered species worldwide.

The karst mountains of Guizhou Province in southwest China feature ravines so deep that locals call them the Earth's Cracks.
At Huajiang Town.
The Beipan River carves one such gorge, a relic of Triassic seas, etched into limestone cliffs which once marked the limits of human passage.
Today, this gorge is no longer an insurmountable barrier to human travel.
The Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge, poised to become the tallest in the world, stretches across this abyss, with its final test just completed recently.
It was a load test for the weight of traffic on the bridge and it proved successful, thereby representing another big step in the quest to transform isolation into connection.
This load test, considered the final step before the bridge, welcomes traffic included both static and dynamic tests.
96 heavy trucks weighing a combined 3300 tons rumbled in batches onto the deck in slow procession, parking at designated spots.
Over 400 sensors across the bridge were tracking the tiniest shifts in the main span towers, cables and suspenders.
The five-day testing process confirmed that the bridge's structural strength, stiffness and dynamic performance met safety standards.
The bridge is expected to open to traffic in late September.
Wu Jiaming, project manager for the bridge construction process, described this bridge as an unprecedented engineering feat.
Wu, who is with Guizhou Transportation Investment Group Company, added that the team overcame challenges ranging from controlling temperatures in massive concrete pores to securing slopes in the steep canyon terrain, all while faced with powerful winds.
Construction began in January 2022, and the main span was joined earlier this year.
Once open, the bridge will run 2890 meters end-to-end, with its central span stretching 1420 meters, making it the largest span bridge built in mountainous terrain worldwide.
From deck to water it rises 625 meters, a height that makes it the tallest bridge on earth.
For local residents, the impact will be immediate.
Travel across the canyon, which once took two hours will shrink to just two minutes.
The bridge is also a key link on an expressway, forming part of Guizhou's ongoing push to knit together its rugged interior via modern highways.
The province, the only one in China without a single plane, has long relied on tunnels and bridges to overcome its jagged karst landscape.
Guizhou is now home to more than 30,000 bridges. including the world's three tallest.
Nearly half of the world's top 100 highest bridges are located in Guizhou, earning it the nickname the World's Bridge Museum.
Together, Guizhou's built and under construction spans Measure more than 5,400 kilometers.
