Learning English is not boring.
Today, you will learn English easily.
You guys know I love traveling and I love teaching English.
I have another slow English vlog for you.
This is not a boring English class, but I am certain you will learn something new from this video.
So sit back, relax, and learn English with me.
I went on a trip with my friend, Olivia.
We went to Cozumel, a beautiful island near Cancun.
But let me show you from the beginning.
How we got there, the places we visited, and my favorite memories from start to finish.
We boarded our plane from Mexico City to Cancun.
Our seats were in the way back of the plane, right next to the bathrooms, basically.
When we arrived, we sat down at a restaurant.
We got some juices and ate some fish tacos.
I asked for the check, but it looked like I was giving my signature.
Olivia tried on a cute green hat and we boarded our ferry to Cozumel.
To get from Cancun to Cozumel, you need to take a ferry.
It was crazy to see so much sargasso on the beach.
If you don't know what sargasso is, it's a little plant that grows in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
And because of global warming, more and more of those little plants are dying and ending up at our shores, destroying corals and marine life every day.
And this wasn't even the worst day There has been so much more sargasso this summer.
It's very sad.
But, Cozumel has no sargasso.
So, out of sight, out of mind.
Basically.
We got dinner.
And then we got dessert.
We got some gelato.
It was so good.
The next morning, we decided to hit the market to have breakfast.
Olivia got the steak soup and the pineapple and orange juice.
Then Olivia practiced her Spanish with the manager of the restaurant. which was cute.
We rode around on the bike for a little bit.
Just me and my Chinese chauffeur.
I feel like we look so cute.
The view was incredible.
The baby blue water was so pretty.
The topes were a little annoying. we kept on jumping over them because we didn't stop in time.
Topes are like speed bumps.
But after driving around for a little bit, we found a nice place to sit down and watch the sunset.
I played in the water.
We saw the boats and we enjoyed the reflection in the water and the breeze near the ocean.
After the sun set, we were hungry.
So we went to my new favorite place in Cozumel to eat.
Wow.
Listen, listen.
We ate some delicious garlic bread, some ceviche, and some aguachile.
These are two of my favorite Mexican dishes.
So good.
Have you ever tried ceviche?
What's something that you eat at the beach? in your country.
A popular dish maybe.
The next morning we drove to the dive center where we scuba dived for a little bit.
It was very tiring so right after we went to eat.
Then we drove around and searched for a cute spot to sit down and watch the sunset at.
And we found the cutest spot.
It's my new favorite spot.
There was nobody around, just us and the sound of the ocean.
We sat down and we talked until the sun set.
It was really fun hanging out, just the two of us.
After the sun set, We grabbed all our things and we rode off back home.
Well, back to have dinner first.
Riding in the dark was a little scary, but it was fun.
I don't remember what we ate that night, but The next morning was a beautiful morning.
The sun was so warm and it wasn't too intense because the clouds were out as well.
I got this beautiful video of the trees as we drove past.
We found a beach.
Finally, all of the beaches in Cozumel were private.
They were owned owned by resorts, big resorts.
And you have to pay close to $50 to get in.
But we asked around and we found a beach that was public.
I think it was the last public beach on the island.
We walked through an abandoned resort and we found a beautiful beach at the end of it.
We laid on the sand and took in the sun.
I swam a little bit and we watched the sun set.
Then Olivia said, go dance and I'll record.
So I did a little dance in front of the sunset.
Then we drove back and we were listening to a song that we both really like.
It's a very sweet song.
It's one of my favorites.
Can you guess what song it is?
Can you read our mouths?
We just really enjoy driving around on the motorbike, especially in a place that's so beautiful.
We both just always wanted to ride around.
Even if we weren't going anywhere specifically, we just enjoyed the ride.
Do you enjoy riding either a car, driving a car, or riding a motorbike?
Then we stumbled upon a festival, I think.
It was like a concert with some stands that had food and candy and activities.
It was nice to see.
It was like a local celebration.
The next morning, I had breakfast alone.
It was amazing.
Olivia wasn't with me because she had to scuba dive.
So we met up afterwards and we got a huge pizza.
Huge.
It was a lobster pizza.
There was a huge issue with our booking.
Basically we had booked our stay at a resort for a few days.
But when we arrived, we realized the booking wasn't confirmed.
So we had to leave and we just booked the next ferry out to Cancun.

I was a little angry in this video, but it was actually a really nice ride back.
There was a guy playing the guitar and singing some really good songs.
Do you know this one?
After taking the ferry to Playa del Carmen, we had to take a bus to Cancun.
So at the bus station I was standing in line waiting to buy our tickets when I felt something fall on my head and I saw my phone was splashed with something, some weird sort of substance.
Liquidy, but also solid.
It was green.
Can you guess what it was?
It was bird poop, basically had fallen directly on my head, like this video.
I couldn't believe it.
I just thought how, how could this happen?
What are the chances of this happening, for a bird to poop directly on my head?
So, Olivia came back.
She had bought some ice cream.
I told her and she said, wow, you're so lucky because what are the chances?
You have to be very lucky to have that happen to you, specifically to you.
So I guess I'm a lucky person.
That night, we passed out.
We slept for so long.
And then the next morning, we woke up and we saw the beautiful view we had outside.
I always wake up with puffy eyes and a puffy face and crazy hair.
But this view is really nice.
We got ready and we decided to go shopping.
So we went to the nearest mall. and we got a Starbucks.
I know, Starbucks is not the best coffee, but it was what there was.
There's a term in Spanish called fresa.
It's like when you're stuck up or pretentious.
And I think fresas drink Starbucks coffee.
What do you think?
Then, after shopping, we were so tired, so we had to get some ice cream.
Well no, it's not ice cream, it's acai.
It was so refreshing.
I love acai.
An açaí bowl with mango, strawberry, banana, blueberries, and granola.
With Olivia.
I remember the best açaí I've ever had was in Brazil.
I love Brazilian food and açaí is Brazilian so it was really good.
Then we started walking towards the place we were going to have dinner at.
We were going to have dinner at a very nice sushi restaurant.
And they had access to the beach as well.
So we decided that was the perfect spot.
Before having sushi, I recorded some TikToks, some YouTube videos, at the beach.
There was nobody around and it was very, very quiet.
Look at what we ordered.
What did we order today Olivia? fried dumplings.
Yes, English.
And noodles.
Noodles.
And in the noodle we have mushrooms seaweed, and We gossiped, we chatted and we ate an amazing dinner.
Then, we decided we would go to Cocobongo.
It's a famous nightclub or show in Cancun.
And it was really good.
They had some really cool shows and some really talented dancers.
They had a camera following people around and showing celebrities.
There was this one guy who had a big afro.
He looked like The guy who sings, I'm sexy and I know it.
So then they put the camera on him and they said, celebrity cam.
But he just had a big afro that wasn't him.
It was funny.
Another time.
They put Gangnam Style and they put the camera on this Korean guy.
It was very racist, I think, but it was all in good spirits.
I think it was funny.
There was a Spiderman show and a disco show.
It was very fun.
And the next day, we got breakfast at the beach.
I got guacamole.
You guys know I love my guacamole.
And Olivia got this amazing dish.
I think it was ceviche, but I'm not sure.
And that was the end of our trip.
You guys know I love making these vlogs showing you guys the thing that I love most, which is traveling.
And hopefully this inspired you in some way to either practice your English, to step out of your comfort zone to learn something new, or to start following your dreams.
I'll make a video in the future on how to travel on a budget.
I used to travel by myself by doing volunteering jobs where you would work at a hostel or hotel or animal shelter, anything like that, in a different country and they wouldn't pay you but their payment would be a place to stay, maybe food benefits, anything and everything is possible.
And I want you guys to see that.
So comment down below if there's anything that you feel like you're not doing Because you're scared or you think you can't.
Tell me, what's one thing you dream of doing but you haven't done for some reason?
Tell me what that is and I'm sure I can convince you that you can, that it is possible and that you should do it as soon as possible.
My next video will talk about the comments that you leave in this video and I'll show you that you can do it, that it is possible.
