If you want something, you have to stop needing it.
I mean, how many times have you been desperate for a thing or a person, or a certain outcome and you actually got it?
I can't recall one time in my life where I was desperate for something and it, and it went my way.
It almost never happens.
And I've come to understand that that's because desperation is a repulsive energy.
You know, if you're talking to somebody and you sense that they're desperate for you, like they need you, does that attract you to them?
No, not at all.
Not at all.
And the same thing works for everything.
You know, it's really a universal law of life, of the universe, of whatever you want to call it.
You know?
And it's human.
Like, it's human.
But we get in the way of things when we do that.
I'm sure you've heard of the law of detachment.
It's the same concept.
You know, when you detach from something a desire, a desired outcome or a thing or opportunity or or whatever it is, it just naturally has gravitated towards you.
Now I'm not saying it's bad to want something.
There's a difference between wanting and needing.
I want to achieve certain goals in my life.
I want to live a certain lifestyle.
I want to be a certain type of person.
There's nothing wrong with wanting something.
But to need it, to be desperate for it, to try and claw it into your life, that's another thing.
Whenever you identify something in your life that you want, naturally you're subconsciously paving a path to get there.
Now we don't know what that path looks like all the time.
We don't know where it leads or what we'll encounter.
We might not even know how to start really.
We, we might not even be sure of that, but it is there, you know?
And I think that it's really not about knowing how it's about knowing that you can.
And if you have this perpetual effort that you're putting towards pursuing this thing, understanding that you don't know exactly how you're going to get there, when you're going to get there, but just kind of making an effort and accepting what comes your way along that path, and accepting failures and the times that you get lost as opportunities to learn from and just continuing to move forward, that's when you are gravitated towards it.
When you're pursuing something, it's kind of like a slow dance in a way.
You have a relationship in a way with this thing that you're pursuing.
You know, you can't just brute force your way to something.
It's just not how it works all the time.
You have to kind of work with it and you have to understand it and get to know it a little bit better.
And, you know, make mistakes, you know, and come to understand where the boundaries are.
You know, and there will be times where you feel like you're right there.
You're right there.
You're on the verge of getting it.
And then just a day later or a week later, you'll feel the farthest you've ever been.
And if you ask me, that's a beautiful thing.
That is pure.
That is, it's poetic really, but it's that process.
It's that push and pull.
It's that slow dance that you have with that thing that you're pursuing in your life whether it be a version of yourself or some sort of milestone or goal that makes it.
That's where you get the fulfillment, that's where you get the value.
You know it's, it's in the journey, it's in the process.
It gives you something to do, something to fight for, something to figure out.
You know something to.
You know stake something on.
You know like really put yourself into something and not know the outcome and just accept what comes your way.
So i'm sure you have something in your mind.
For a lot of people it's financial freedom.
You know unfortunately, a lot of people are struggling nowadays with with finances, and it's not entirely their fault either.
Of course there's some things that we could do better, but You know it's not easy by any means.
And when you're pursuing financial freedom, it kind of when you don't know that you can have it, when you don't know that you're capable, it kind of becomes this elusive thing that's like can I really, can I really have that?
Or is this just some made up fairy tale that I have in my head about some dream reality that I'll never live?
And that's a trap, my friend.
That is a trap.
And one that is set by evil.
You have to know that you are capable of literally everything.
God gave you that power.
He did not make you incapable of living the fulfilling life that you're pursuing.
By nature, He just wouldn't make you that way.
He made you capable of fulfilling what you are meant to do in this life.
But if you allow evil to slip into your mind and tell you otherwise and you identify with those worries, those doubts, those judgments, those limitations, then that's exactly what you'll be.
That's how you'll operate.
That's how you feel.
That's what you'll think.
And then you're really, that's the getting in the way.
Let go.
If you let go, understand that you're not going to know how, but you have the capability to do the thing, to have the thing.
Let's start now.
What can we do?
Let's figure it out.
And the journey that you will go on and the process of of of, of pursuance, of fulfillment is, oh my gosh, it just it.
It fills me with like i get goosebumps talking about it, because that has been my life since i decided to take control and, you know, work with what i had.
And what did that result in?
It resulted in the complete transformation of my life.
You know, not that long ago i was alone, i had experienced tragedy and i lost pretty much everyone that was close to me.
I had no motivation, no direction, no guidance.
I had no faith or belief in god.
Mentally, i was at zero.
Physically, i was at zero.
Spiritually, i was at zero, and if you asked me then how i knew i was going to get where i am today, i'd have no clue.
I would have no clue.
I'd maybe have an idea, but what i would have told you then isn't how i actually got here.
You know, i thought i knew what i was doing, but i didn't really know, and it wasn't until i accepted that i didn't know everything that the path would entail everything.
You know, i stopped trying to have it all figured out, i stopped trying to have all the answers and i i, i spoke to god and i said god, i don't, this is what i want.
I want a better life for myself.
I want to be a better person.
I want to be capable.
I want to be well-rounded.
I want to be intelligent.
I want to be articulate.
I want to inspire others.
I want to make a positive impact.
I want to show your strength through my journey.
I don't know how I'm going to get there, God, but I'm here for it.
Whatever comes my way, I'm here for it.
And I know that I'm capable.
I know that I have you along the process.
And that's all I need, God.
That's all I need and you know it's.
It's not like i got there the next day.
You know.
It's years and years of of figuring it out and not knowing, and it took a long time and a lot of effort.
But the depth of that journey I can't even put it into words.
My life has been hard, but I love it in its entirety.
I have no regrets.
I have no resentment.
I wouldn't change anything about it.
And there have been times along this process where I was questioning if I could bear it.
You know, I felt unbearable sometimes.
There were times where I did identify with those thoughts that were planted in my mind by evil.
And I did have bad months.
And I did have times where I thought I felt like I was losing control.
I did have times where I felt, where I didn't feel the presence of God, or so I thought.
I did have times where i questioned the likelihood of my success, of my capabilities, of my true nature.
You have ups and downs, you know you have ups and downs and you have really rough times and you have really good times.
But it's that spectrum, it's it's it's that depth that makes it poetic.
And it's hard in the moments when you're going through those rough times.
But you come out on the other side and you are a more developed, you are a more well-rounded, a more calculated, a more capable, a more confident version of yourself and your connection with god is even stronger because you go.
You know you were right, i was capable And I know I lost sight of that for a little bit, but it's clear now.
And you move forward, and there are more adversities that come along the way, but you're there for it.
You know and you experienced this enough times.
And when you come out on the other side and you turn around and you see another staggering mountain above you, you don't feel dread.
You don't feel this, this overwhelming, daunting feeling.
You're eager, you're excited.
You look at this as an opportunity, a blessing, even though the uncertainty is in the air.
And that is what detachment does for you.
That is what happens when you stop needing something and you just allow everything that is meant to be in your life.
My friend will be gravitated into your life given time, but you have to get out of the.
You have to get out of your own way.
You have to get out of your own way.
You know, and some of you watching this may have the feeling of like okay, what's the answer?
That's the thing there.
There is no clear answer.
That's the whole point.
We're wired to have to need an answer, but acceptance is is is about not needing an answer, it's about accepting, not knowing.
You just have to remember your true nature, your origin.
You are of god, You know you are of God and so there is nothing that prevails above you your boundlessness, your capability, your divine essence and energy.
That is capable of anything, my friend.
Know that.
That is your answer.
You are your answer.
Everything that happens in the external is either a breakthrough, a step forward or an opportunity to progress, to develop, to learn from.
That is the game.
If you know that, if you understand that, then you've won.
Then you've won, my friend.
I appreciate your time.
And I will see you soon.
