I don't know how it's already this time of year again, but I'm very much ready to start a new chapter.
It's crazy looking back at my 2025 vision board.
This year was full of milestones.
Even if I didn't reach a goal, I feel like I carved out a pathway to be on my way to it, and I'm so excited to continue that in 2026.
I saw this quote the other day that I loved.
It says, ask for more.
The universe isn't on a budget.
I honestly love that because I feel like goals can sometimes feel unrealistic.
They can feel so impossible and out of reach, but it's like, why?
Like if you can imagine it, then it's possible, you know?
So when it comes to goals, the first thing I ask myself is how can I get there?
Like what steps do I have to make in order to reach it?
Because when I have like this huge goal and I'm looking at the end result, it can feel so far away and so impossible.
But if I think of all the steps I could do to get to it, it feels a lot better.
One of my favorite ways to manifest is to just act like I already have it and act like I'm already the person I would be if I had it.
What would that version of me act like?
What would I do?
And how would I spend my time?
Those are the things I started changing in my life.
Number one is I started dressing like my dream self.
I feel like what better way to become the dream version of yourself than to already start acting like you are that person.
And for me that started with clothing.
I wanted to dress super put together, but also feel confident and comfortable in what I'm wearing.
So that started with me only buying clothing that felt timeless and that I could mix and match with so many things and create so many outfits.
I also started buying quality over quantity.
So throughout my closet, I have so many options that will hold up and last for so long.
So this outfit, for example, was probably my most worn this year.
I love these garage tops.
They're plain, they're cute, but they're flattering.
I can dress them up or dress them down, but mostly I wear them with jeans this year.
I finally found a cute low rise pair of jeans.
They're flared at the bottom.
I have them in multiple colors, because when I like something, I have to buy it in every color color.
I also have my everyday purse and then, to make it super realistic, I have a couple books in my hand too, because this is how I looked all year.
Like, honestly.
But I feel like dressing the parts already in itself makes you feel like you're becoming that person.
So I pictured that version of me that I'm thinking is my dream self, and this is how she looked.
Maybe I'm going to a coffee shop or a park to read, maybe I'm meeting up with friends or going to the bookstore or going shopping.
I mean, I really could be going anywhere in this outfit.
The dream version of myself has a much lower screen time.
So anytime I catch myself scrolling a lot, I put my phone down and I tell myself my time is worth a lot more than this.
Honestly, being realistic, I spent so many days this year scrolling on my phone.
And especially during winter time.
Sometimes all I want to do is lay down on the couch and go on my phone for hours.
But honestly, having more self-control is something I really want to work on in 2026.
I want to find more hobbies and more ways to occupy my time, rather than scrolling on TikTok for hours and hours.
The dream version of myself has a super clean apartment.
Maybe not all the time because let's be realistic.
So I started cleaning my apartment little by little, every single day, instead of letting it build up to be as bad as it was in some of my videos this year.
It feels so much better to have everything somewhat clean every single day, rather than spotless only a couple times a month.
The dream version of myself has a ritual instead of a routine.
For example, taking off my makeup every single night.
It doesn't matter what I did during the day or how tired I am.
I have to wash my face every single night.
And in 2025, that's exactly what I did.
Having some consistency in your life and having some non-negotiables helps so much in your routine, because when you commit to doing something every single day, no matter what, it impacts other areas of your life.
So I washed my face and removed my makeup every single night of 2025, which sounds kind of whatever, but honestly, life happens.
There were so many nights.
I was so exhausted that I did not want to remove my makeup, but I did it anyway.
I gave myself no option.
One of the ways I kind of forced myself to do it was I do not have any makeup wipes or any other makeup remover except a face wash.
So there was no way for me to remove my makeup unless I washed my And so that way I was kind of forced to do it.
But throughout my entire routine, morning and night, I have things that I am fully committed to.
So I got up extra early some days so I could finish my entire routine before starting my day.
And it turned my routines into rituals.
When it comes to reaching my goals, I would say it's 100% progress over perfection.
It's not gonna be perfect every single time.
There are gonna be things that get in your way.
There are gonna be roadblocks.
The pathway could look a million different ways, but just knowing you're on a pathway is a step in itself.
My number one motivation is remembering who I'm doing it for.
I love the idea of having a picture of the people that are keeping you motivated.
One of those people is my younger self.
That is who I wanna make proud.
As exciting as the new year can be, this time of year is also the hardest for me.
Every year during the winter season, I always have the hardest time with my mental health.
I started going to therapy like two and a half years ago now and it's honestly one of the best things I've ever done.
I realized it was something I should have started doing a long time ago.
Grow Therapy is a great resource if you want to prioritize your mental health in 2026.
It's a more accessible and affordable therapy to fit real life.
You can book appointments in as little as two days, filter by identity, gender, faith, and more.
You can also easily switch providers if it's not a good fit.
I definitely think it makes a huge difference to have a therapist you actually like and that even shares similar experiences or values to you.
Grow Therapy works with over 100 insurance plans.
Most sessions cost around 21 with insurance, or as little as 0 a session, and you only pay per session.
There's no subscription required.
I've wanted to dive deeper into mental health on my channel recently, so I'm really excited going into the new year to be more open about it.
I honestly think, speaking to someone on a regular basis, the last couple years has really changed my life.
So I'm really excited to share more accessible resources like this with you guys.
I have so many goals for 2026, but number one is just taking care of myself.
So definitely check out Grow Therapy by scanning the QR code on screen or clicking the link in my description.
And thank you so much to Grow Therapy for sponsoring today's video.
Honestly guys, the best goal for 2026 is to fall in love with yourself.
My self-love journey is very long.
And honestly, although it's been a long journey, I feel like this year I have made the most progress.
Every little trait about me makes me me.
And I think one of the coolest things is that there is no other version of you.
Like you are an original.
There is no one with qualities and traits like yours.
Even the things I didn't like for the longest time is a part of me.
One of the biggest things I struggled with my entire life was my hair.
I have naturally super curly hair and it was so cute when I was growing up.
But once I got to middle school, I literally did not know what to do with it.
I did not know how to maintain it, how to style it, how to work with it.
The only thing I did was wish it away.
I wanted straight hair so bad.
I was so jealous of everyone with straight hair.
I would have traded it like any day for straight hair.
This year I stopped straightening my hair religiously.
I found a haircare routine that actually works for me.
I started growing up my hair longer and I feel like the length is really coming, coming in and I started adding a little bit of wave to my hair.
I actually have grown to love the texture of my hair, not just the curliness but also like the messiness when it looks lived in.
I love how that looks.
I hope this time next year I'm actually wearing my naturally curly hair more, but this progress.
The same goes for finding my own style.
I started only buying clothing pieces I actually liked, that fit, that fit my body type and that were comfortable.
For a long time, I wore clothes only because they were trendy and I felt like that's what I should be wearing.
But especially this year.
I just stopped paying attention to trends altogether because when I would buy a clothing item specifically because it was trendy, that was the item in my closet I never wore.
I literally only buy things that I like.
And now when I go into my closet, I actually see so many options.
I also love getting my nails done.
I love getting cool designs.
This is a really bad example.
I literally have plain pink French tips.
But I feel like my nails are one of my biggest accessories.
It's a way that I can really show my personality.
One of my biggest goals of 2025 was to prioritize eating well and moving.
And that is exactly how I'm treating 2026.
I like saying moving better than fitness or working out, because I feel like it can feel a little bit enticing and unrealistic if I say I want a strict workout routine.
Instead, I'm like, I just need to move my body.
I want to get my muscles moving.
I want to be more flexible.
I want to feel healthier and stronger and better, especially for the long term.
If I'm doing all that stuff now, I think my future self is really going to thank me.
And I feel like the key to doing this is finding a routine that works for you, no matter what your interest is, if it's going to the gym Pilates, taking a class running swimming anything,
As soon as you actually like what you're doing.
It's not gonna be a question of if you're gonna go or if you're gonna do it, you're just gonna do it.
I never thought I would be that person going to the gym all the time and really taking care of myself.
And the thing is with working out, you just have to get over that bump.
First day might be easy, the second day might be easy, but the third day is really when it gets hard.
Like going back and being consistent every single day over and over again, that is the hardest part.
But as soon as I locked in, got through that hardest part, then it was easy.
Then the rest of the year, I was like, yeah, I'm going to the gym.
It's not even a question.
I'm going to work it into my schedule.
I'm going to do it.
But not only did I want to work out, I also wanted to eat better.
I have noticed a huge difference from just eating better food.
I feel like my hair, skin, nails, and even my mood has really improved.
And the other thing is it doesn't have to be crazy.
Like every time I go into the new year and I'm like, yeah, I'm gonna eat good.
I'm gonna have a strict diet.
I'm gonna cut out sugar.
That's when it never sticks.
It honestly doesn't have to be crazy.
You don't have to be super strict with yourself, But just being aware of like, what you're eating and balancing it out, I feel like, is the way to go.
And then combined with fitness and moving around, it doesn't get any better.
Like that's what it's all about.
And this year I discovered so many good recipes with so many good foods and ingredients that are easy and that I actually like.
So I'm honestly really excited, just moving into the new year, to be a better person, to become a better version of myself, to upgrade, to level up, to start the new chapter.
It's a crazy time this time of year.
Like January 1st is a milestone in itself.
And now you get to decide the person you want to become.
So I wanted to talk about some of my goals for 2026.
Number one is to travel.
Of course, I feel like this is always like my new year's resolution.
I really want to go out of the country again.
I want to go somewhere new.
I got back into my reading era this year and honestly, nothing makes me happier.
It's kind of what I think about all the time.
So I want to read more books and I'm so excited to do that.
I want to experience each season in a positive.
I know throughout this video I talked about mental health and how winter is always a really hard one for me.
Like these next couple months usually are very difficult to get through.
But this year I really want to romanticize the seasons.
I want to embrace them.
I really want to start to love every single time of year.
One of my main work goals is to get more into short form content.
I love YouTube.
As we know, YouTube is my favorite, favorite.
But like with Instagram and TikTok, I really want to expand my profiles more.
I love long form content.
I love sitting down and talking.
These are my favorite videos to watch too.
But I also want to see what I can do with short form and branching out more into Instagram and TikTok.
I want to continue on my fitness journey.
I want to be more flexible.
And I also want to just continue becoming a better version of myself on the inside and outside.
So that is it for today's video.
We have a lot going into 2026.
I hope this video was enjoyable for you guys.
This is a much different layout than I ever do.
I almost never sit down and talk to you guys.
Like this is very rare, but I thought it was so fun.
I made an entire outline for this video, so I didn't miss anything, anything.
But I am so excited for the new year.
I'm so excited to go into it with you guys.
I am so incredibly grateful to be on YouTube and to have you guys supporting me.
This year I hit 1 million subscribers, which is the ultimate goal.
That's been my goal for the last 10 years I've been on YouTube.
And it's crazy.
Like 2025 was a big year for me specifically for that goal.
And I say it all the time, but I am so grateful for all of you guys.
Like I genuinely would not be this person without you.
I think about it every single day.
I love you all so, so much.
I believe in you.
We're gonna go into 2026 with a great mindset, positive mentality and become the best versions of ourselves together.
But with that being said, I love you all so, so much.
I will see you soon.
And I hope you have an amazing rest of 2025 and an amazing New Year's.
Bye guys.
