The study serves as a reminder that mental health is not a "static thing," but a dynamic state influenced by the time of day.

Unearthing the Ancestors of Modern Birds

Finally, the episode highlights a significant discovery from the Antarctic Peninsula: a fossilized skull from the Cretaceous period, roughly 66 million years ago. This discovery provides a rare glimpse into the early lineages of modern birds, specifically the ancestors of ducks and geese.

Researchers identified the bird, named Vegavis, as a creature that used its legs to "dive underwater and swim to catch fish."
