It's Wee Wow Week.
Sloppy Salad Days, Wowzers of the World.
In Behold, the Rolling Stones.
Ready for another day of holiday wow and wonder?
Well Mindy, I'd love to, but it's getting close to the end of the year and I'm just trying to figure out how I'm going to achieve my New Year's goal.
Well, what's your New Year's goal, Guy Raz?
Okay well, this may sound a little bonker balls, but my goal is to produce zero waste in the new year.
Oh, zero waste?
As in no trash?
Wow, that's a big goal.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Tell me about it.
What's yours?
Well, my big goal is to fly.
But you do that all the time.
You've got the wow machine.
You've got Reggie.
Oh, no, no, no, no, no.
I want to fly on my own, like a plane or a turkey.
I don't think turkeys really fly.
Not with that attitude, they don't.
Right.
So how do you plan to accomplish this goal?
I mean, like mine, it seems almost impossible.
Oh.
It's easy, Guy Raz.
Whenever you have a big goal, you've got to break it up into little baby goals.
Huh.
Think of them as little steps on a ladder that you climb one by one until you reach the top.
Okay.
So if I want to create zero waste in the new year, I could start by building a compost heap for my trash.
Maybe make a list of what I already have and how I can reuse those things.
And also find ways to recycle so that I'm not adding any trash to landfills.
And I can break down my big goal of becoming a flying human by collecting all of Reggie's old discarded feathers, gluing them to my body and taking flying lessons from a turkey.
Again, turkeys do not fly.
Shh, they'll hear you.
You know, I wonder what big goals other people are setting for the new year.
Well, the first step in finding out is to invite them to join us in setting some goals in the first place.
Oh, great idea.
Do you have your megaphone, Mindy?
You know I do.
But first, I need to switch out the batteries.
I think I've got some fresh ones in the back of the truck here.
Hang on.
Be right back.
All right.
Wee Wow will be right back.

Woo!
Now back to the show.
Hello, Wowzers, and happy holidays.
Mindy and I would like to invite you to join us in setting some big New Year's goals for yourselves.
And we're talking big goals.
Big goals that can be broken up into teeny tiny itsy bitsy goals.
Maybe your big goal has to do with mastering a new skill.
Or making a big difference in your school or community.
Or making a big change to how you take care of this planet.
Once you set your big New Year's goal, you'll want to come up with a list of smaller goals to help you achieve it.
Because big things happen one step at a time.
Unless you're learning to fly, and then they happen one flap at a time.
And we'd love to add some of your goals to our Wow on Wheels.
Call us at 1-888-7-WOW-WOW.
And your grown-ups can upload pictures and videos to us at Tinkercast.com slash share.
And together, we'll wow in the new year.
Happy New Year!
And remember, who wows?
We wow!
See you tomorrow!
