Easy English expression rehashed.
Hello everybody, my name is Coach Shane and welcome to Easy English Expressions.
Come on, let's master English.
Coach Shane here.
Welcome back to the Easy English Expression Podcast.
Rehashed.
You guys, I want you to study with me on school.
It's free.
Yeah, we have so much free stuff.
School.com slash LME.
S-K-O-O-L dot com.
C-O-M slash L-M-E.
L-M-E.
Let's master English.
L-M-E.
All right.
Enjoy today's expression.
Let's go back in time.
Today's expression is great.
Now you know the expression.
Too much, it's too much.
The price of the ticket is too much.
What does that mean?
It means it's very expensive.
In fact, it's so expensive you cannot afford it or you will not pay for it.
It's too much.
Too much means negative.
No, no, no.
It's too expensive.
No, no, no.
I will not buy it because of the cost.
So, for example, I want to go to a concert and the concert ticket is $50.
$50.
Oh, that's too much.
$30?
No problem.
$40?
Ooh, that's expensive.
But maybe I'll go.
$45?
Wow, that's so expensive.
But I really do like them.
Maybe I'll go.
$50?
Oh, that's too much.
No, it's just, I can't go.
It's too expensive.
No.
But let me give you another expression.
That's all too much.
That is all too much.
So once again, $30, that's a good price.
$40, ooh, it's expensive, but okay.
Forty five dollars.
Oh, it's so much.
But I love them.
I'll go fifty dollars.
Oh, too much.
Nope.
Nope.
Not going.
A hundred dollars.
It's all too much.
It's ridiculous.
What?
A hundred dollars.
It's crazy.
All too much.
So, too much is bad.
All too much is crazy bad.
It's absolutely stupid.
It's ridiculous.
That's the idea.
Shane is all too funny.
Oh wait, that's a good thing.
Yeah, no.
Let's check out a dialogue.
Oh, you shouldn't eat that.
It's not healthy.
Okay.
Don't use margarine.
Use butter.
Okay.
This health stuff is all too much for me.
Yeah, it's true.
It's a good point.
You know, nowadays, many people try to eat healthy.
And one doctor says no salt.
Another doctor says salt is okay.
One doctor says no butter.
Another doctor says butter is okay.
One doctor says no meat.
Another doctor says meat is okay.
Oh my God, it's crazy.
Everybody says this, then they say that.
Oh, it's crazy.
It's all too much.
Trying to think about it, trying to follow a healthy diet.
It's all too much.
It's ridiculous.
It makes me go crazy.
It's insane.
This is the idea.
It's a great expression.
All too expensive.
All too much.
All too difficult.
All too complicated.
Oh yeah.
How is English?
Is English easy or difficult?
For some of you, English might be difficult.
Is it too difficult?
I don't think so.
If English were too difficult then you wouldn't be listening to this podcast.
But what about a different language?
Have you tried studying a different language?
For me, believe it or not, I tried studying Chinese.
Not really the speaking, just the characters, the writing.
Oh my God.
It was too difficult.
It wasn't too difficult.
For me, it was all too difficult.
Oh, it's all too difficult.
No way.
Forget it.
My mind is too small.
That's the idea.
Oh, another thing, math.
Now, when I was a kid, I loved math.
I was good at math.
Then in high school, you study geometry.
You study trigonometry, a little bit of calculus.
If those words are difficult, well, believe me, the math is difficult.
It was difficult, but I didn't give up.
And then in college, I took even more difficult level math.
And oh my goodness, it was too difficult.
But I was stupid.
I should have stopped, but I didn't.
I took another high level math course and it was all too difficult.
I ended up dropping the course.
It was horrible.
It was all too difficult.
You know, math, when you study math, there should be numbers, right?
But that really high level math, there are no numbers.
It's crazy.
What is this?
It's all too ridiculous.
Can you give me an example of something that is all too difficult, all too expensive, all too complicated, all too ridiculous, all too much?
I would love to hear from you.

Let's check out that dialogue two more times, everybody.
Please practice with a friend.
Oh, you shouldn't eat that.
It's not healthy.
Okay.
Uh, don't use margarine.
Use butter.
Okay.
This health stuff is all too much for me.
Oh, you shouldn't eat that.
It's not healthy.
Okay.
Uh, don't use margarine.
Use butter.
Okay.
Okay, this health stuff is all too much for me.
Thanks so much for listening.
