Go la la la? No, no, no. Go. All. Out. G-O-Go.
A-L-L. All. Out. O-U-T. Go all out. What does it mean to go all out?
It means to give 100%. So if you're in a running race, like a marathon, And you go all out...
You give all your energy, 100%, to doing a good job.
When I make these podcasts, I go all out.
I do my best to make the podcast easy. And believe it or not, I do my best to make it short.
I know, sometimes it's long. And I do my best to make it useful.
I go all out. This is a great expression.
When you do your job, you should go all out.
If it's your mom's birthday, do you go all out?
What kind of things could you prepare for your mother's birthday?
Maybe a cake and a present and some roses?
Oh, maybe not your mom Your best friend Your husband Your wife Your girlfriend Your brother Your sister Your dad Somebody If it's their birthday, sometimes you want to go all out. buy something really expensive, make something really nice, take them to a very nice restaurant.
It means to do 100%. Okay? Let's check out a dialogue.
Look at all the bags. Summer shopping. I went all out this year.
You don't have summer clothes? They're last year's clothes.
I can't wear last year's clothes. Oh, boy.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Some people... Every season, they like to buy new clothes.
And evidently, that was a woman, everybody.
No, it wasn't a guy. It was a woman. So she went.
Summer shopping. Summer clothes shopping.
And evidently she bought a lot because the guy said –
Look at all those bags. So of course we can imagine the woman has many, many, many, many, many shopping bags.
She went all out. She bought everything.
Shoes and... I don't know what else. What else do women buy?
Summer clothes. Uh... What do you guys think?
Do you think I go summer clothes shopping?
Do you think I go winter clothes shopping?
Do you think I go shopping? Yeah. No, I don't.
