But for now, let's get on with the show.
Woo!
Row, row your pigeon gently down the lake.
Blah, blah, blah-ba-dee-blah.
It's a piece of cake.
Phew.
Hi, Mindy.
Oh, hey there, Roz.
I like your canoe.
Thanks.
I like your... Reggie?
Oh, thanks.
Me too.
We're going out to Wow Island.
Me too, but it's so far.
I've been trying to get my Paddle to Wow Island Wowzer badge all summer but I end up getting or hungry and I have to turn back.
That's the problem that Reggie and I were having.
He was trying to swim, I was trying to row, and neither one of us got there.
But then I remembered those cleaner shrimp and the bigger fish from our underwater.
Nitpicking episode of Wow in the World.
Oh, that's right.
I remember that adventure.
The cleaner shrimp got to eat the fish's parasites and in return the big fish got cleaned and they helped each other out.
Yep.
So I figured that Reggie and I could help each other out, too.
I sit on top of Reggie and use my paddle to move him forward and in return He gives me a ride and kicks his feet to move me forward.
And that way you can both get to the island.
Exact Doritos.
Is there any chance you've got room for one more?
Oh, sure.
Hop on, Guy Raz.
Okay, let me just stand up in my canoe here so I can reach out over to you.
Oh, here, grab onto my oar.
And when I say three, jump out of your canoe and onto Reggie, okay?
One...
I didn't say three!
Mindy!
What are you doing down there in the water, Guy Raz?
Pull me up!
Pull me up!
Come on, you got it!
Thanks for pulling me up, Mindy.
No problem, Guy Raz-y.
Reggie, you ready to start rowing?
Just not too fast, okay?
Row, row, row your pigeon gently down the lake Roll, roll, roll your pigeon gently down the lake.
Blah, blah, blah-ba-dee-bah.
Ahem.
Camp Wee Wow is an awesome place.
Physics, biology, and outer space.
Science explorers with our headquarters.
Oh, Dennis.
Here at Camp Wee Wow.
Okay, that's enough.
Hey, G4s.
Hey, Larry, follow us.
Oh, baby, go.
Oh, yeah.
Camp Wee Wow.
Hello campers and welcome to Camp WeWOW, the invisible summer camp for science explorers everywhere.
I'm your camp counselor, Mindy.
And I'm your camp counselor, Guy Raz.
It's Under the Sea Week. inspired by our Wow in the World episode, Underwater Nitpicking, Cleaner Shrimp, and Why Big Fish Won't Eat Them.
If you missed it, you can listen to Monday's episode for an encore.
We've got a brain game on the to-do list for today.
But first here's Dennis with today's to-don't list.
Huh?
Attention campers!
The lice have gotten a little out of control, so listen up to this quick to-don't list.
First, don't feed the lice.
They're getting pretty big.
Uh-oh.
So quit leaving snacks out.
Number two, don't dress them in little outfits.
Really?
I know it's super cute, but the staff is confusing them for actual campers.
Number three, don't put them all on the same soccer team together.
They're really good, and it makes the game one-sided and boring.
It's totally unfair.
Dennis.
And lastly...
Quit naming them all Dennis.
I'm trying to rebrand this place as Camp Dennis and it's sending the wrong message.
Thank you.
That is all.
Yikes.
We might have to do something about all those giant lice.
Eh, I'm sure it'll all work out.
Campers, we'll be right back with today's Under the Sea Week activity.
But first, the Wow Cow has a message for your grown-ups at home.
Boo!
Camp Wee Wow will be right back.

Welcome back WeWow campers.
We're here in the game room with a game we like to call Nautical Names.
There are all sorts of things in the sea with some pretty interesting names.
So Guy Raz and I are going to say some names of things under the sea and you have to guess whether it's an animal, a plant or a geological feature.
And just to be clear...
A geological feature is a natural formation in the Earth, like an island or a trench.
Okay, let's get started.
The first word is waterwheel.
Is it an animal, a plant, or a geological feature?
Hmm, that sounds like a geological feature to me.
Maybe some kind of rock that spins?
Actually, Guy Raz, it's a plant.
In fact, it's a carnivorous plant.
A meat-eating plant?
Yep.
It grows in freshwater wetlands and feeds on small insects and fish.
Wow.
Okay.
Well, here's another one.
The word is slimehead.
Is it an animal, a plant, or a geological feature?
Well, I've done enough swimming in Lake Wewau to know that seaweed can be poisonous.
So I'm going to guess that a slimehead is a plant.
Actually, it's a fish.
They live in tropical parts of the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans.
They're also called redfish or roughies, because some people think slimefish isn't the most appealing name.
Okay, last one.
The word is seamount.
Is it an animal name?
A plant or a geological feature.
Oh, I know this one.
It's a geological feature.
It's the name for an underwater mountain or an underwater volcano that's not active anymore.
You're right.
How did you know that, Guy Raz?
Well, didn't your grandma G-Force, used to have a vacation house on top of an underwater, extinct volcano?
Well, she did, but it turned out that it wasn't extinct.
Uh-oh.
Yeah.
So now she needs a new place to spend her summer vacation and I told her she could bunk with you.
What?
And that's your prize for winning this round of Nautical Names, Guy Raz.
Ah!
Ding dong, Mr. Razzy.
You ever make trail mix out of nothing but prunes?
Ah!
Ah!
Welcome, everyone, to the Camp Wee Wow Comedy Club.
Coming up next to the stage is the Wow Cow.
Let's hear it for the Wow Cow.
Okay, let's see.
Where's the applause button?
Oh, nope, wrong button.
Not that one.
There we go.
Okay, take it away, Wow Cow.
Hi, everyone.
It's your favorite Camp Wee Wow's mascot, the Wow Cow. some jokes for you.
Okay.
What do you call the funniest fish in the ocean?
Wait for it.
Wait for it.
A clownfish.
Moo.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Okay.
What did the shark say after eating the clownfish?
Well, that tasted funny.
Can I get a moo?
Okay.
Okay.
That's enough fish puns for one day.
I think we should Scale it back.
Let's hear a move for your favorite mascot.
So much for joining us, campers.
We had a great time playing nautical names with you.
And you can play nautical names at home, too.
All you have to do is look up names of different underwater animals, plants, or geological features.
Try and find the funniest or most interesting names that you can.
Then ask your friends and family to guess what they are.
You can even have them draw a picture of what they think each one looks like.
And as always, be sure to take a photo or video.
Grownups, you can share those pictures and videos with us at Tinkercast.com slash share.
And this week, we're also asking you to share a 30-second sea story.
Call us at 1-888-7WOW-WOW.
We'll be sharing some of your messages around the campfire on Friday.
Until then, who wows?
We wow!
