The exhibition Civilization of the Qin and Han Dynasties The First Chinese Emperors, Terracotta Warriors, has recently opened in Budapest, bringing rare Chinese archaeological treasures to the heart of Central Europe, showcasing more than 150 ancient artworks from China's Qin and Han dynasties, including ten original terracotta warriors.
The exhibition is one of the most significant displays of Chinese culture ever held in Hungary.
That is according to Laszlo Bahn, Director General of the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest.
In an interview with Xinhua Bahn, recalled that many Hungarians still vividly remember the country's first Terracotta Warriors exhibition in 1988.
That earlier display left a deep impression on visitors, and the new presentation is markedly larger in scale and scope.
Ban said that the exhibition covers the most important archaeological discovery of the 20th century, calling the event a milestone in China-Hungary cultural relations.
Ban also underscored its unusually long run.
The six-month display, made possible through close coordination with Chinese institutions, will give both Hungarian and international visitors ample time to explore the collection in depth.
Ban expressed confidence in strong public interest, noting how rare it is to see original terracotta warriors outside China, as many Hungarians have not had the chance to travel to Xi'an.
The arrival of these artefacts offers a meaningful cultural experience.
Barn added that advances in research and museum technology have enabled the Budapest exhibition to introduce new interpretive elements.
Among them is a world premiere 3D light projection, developed in Hungary, which restores the original colours of the terracotta warriors on life-size replicas.
He noted that this innovative feature gives visitors a vivid sense of how the sculptures looked more than two millennia ago, calling it a remarkable addition to the exhibition.
Looking ahead, Barn expects the Terracotta Warriors exhibition to rank among the museums most attended.
A container train carrying 1000 tonnes of cassava starch recently arrived in Zhengzhou, the capital of central China's Henan province, marking the first time that cassava starch from Laos has been exported to China via a full train consignment, departing from Vientiane South Station on the China-Laos Railway.
The 1,000 tonnes of cassava starch were produced by a local processing factory in Laos.
The cargo was organised by China Railway Container Transport Company, the carrier of the China-Europe Railway Express, and provided customers with full process logistics planning, container loading design, as well as pickup and delivery, waybill preparation information, tracking and emergency response services.
The Laos China Railway Company, which operates the Lao section of the China-Laos Railway, stated that since the railway opened, it has offered Lao agricultural exporters high-quality container resources and reliable transport capacity, ensuring the timely delivery of goods.
To date, The company has handled more than 16 million tonnes of freight, including over 17 million tonnes of agricultural products exported to China.

Lu'an City in East China's Anhui Province, a historic goose breeding hub, has transformed itself into a key global supplier of feathers the core raw material for the badminton industry.
The goose breeding tradition in Lu'an dates back about 400 years to the Ming dynasty.
Jiang Weijun, head of a local agricultural company and supplier of badminton feathers, said that nowadays, the growth cycle of over 200 days of the Wanshi white goose assures the good quality of its feathers, which are in high demand on the global market.
The feathers of the local goose species are not only visually appealing due to their white colour, but are also larger, thicker and have more flexible quills than average.
This combination of traits makes them well suited for producing shuttlecocks with stable flight and high durability.
In recent years, as the value of these feathers became better known, Local farming has shifted from small household operations to larger scale breeding.
The use of controlled environment, goose houses and off-season breeding techniques has helped increase the supply and quality of the feathers.
Jiang said that about 14 million Wanshi white geese are raised in Lu'an each year, but the growing supply of feathers still cannot meet the demand.
After collection, the feathers go through dozens of steps, including sorting washing, drying and assembling, before being turned into finished shuttlecocks.

At the Yu Xiang sporting goods factory, a worker places raw feathers into an intelligent sorting machine.
The machine uses AI to quickly check and sort the feathers into 21 different categories.
Jiang Xinsheng, head of the company, noted that a worker could sort 20000 feathers a day by hand, but a machine can sort 250000 a day.
Zhang said the machine was developed with a Chinese university and is now in its fourth generation.
The company can produce 800000 tubes of shuttlecocks per year and has become one of the production bases for the globally renowned brand Yonex.
Zhang said that they are also developing robotic arms to make production more efficient in the future.
