What's your favorite book?
Hello, my name is Sophie.
I'm in fourth grade at Ethan Allen Elementary.
My favorite book is a series of unfortunate events book 7.
Why that one of all the other ones in the series?
Because it's really interesting and has a really good plot.
And the other ones don't?
All of them, the whole series does, but I specifically like this book because I think it's about the Austere Academy which is a school for misfits.
How does the book compare to the TV series?
The TV series is also good but I feel like the book has more details and explains it better.
Hello my name is Olivia.
I'm in 7th grade and I go to McGarvin Intermediate and my favorite book is Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
Why that one? Have you read the whole series?
I have read all of the series, every book by the author.
I love it because it explains so much about mythology, it gives different perspectives on all the gods.
did that make you go and do actual research on Greek gods?
yeah I think for one of my projects for school I actually did an entire project about Zeus because of Percy Jackson hello my name is Lucinae and I'm in sixth grade at Lawrence Middle School and my favorite book is probably the book angry ostecs from the serious horrible histories because it's about Austex and it's really interesting because all the stuff in there is not is what I don't learn about Austex in school and it might it's a little gross but it's interesting what makes it grow war block battles they don't teach that kind of stuff at school it's interesting though if they did take stuff
like that in school would you be more interested in history yes hello my name is I stay I I go to I am in fourth grade and I go to San Jose highly gifted magnet my favorite book is Anna Green Gables because it is a story about a girl who grows up in an adopted family and it's very sad and happy at the same time I have been to Prince Edward Island two or three times because I love that book also.

Yes. I am Alishio. I'm in second grade.
I'm in funny. What makes it funny because a lot of people say that I don't know what they mean.
Because there's a lot of action and characters and making funny tales and comics.
Who's the best character in the book.
A flippy, a robofish.
Hello my name is Ramya, my grade is in third grade and I go to the School Idea Academy.
And my favorite book is Invisible Ankling.
I like it because it's creative, and it has lots of surprises, and you don't really know what's gonna happen next.
What makes it creative?
Like it's not like a normal book, like people do different things than they do a normal books, like there's invisible things, and things you can see.
So it's a fantasy. Fantasy would be the genre right?
Yeah. Hi my name is Shreya I go to the Idea Academy and I'm a fifth grader.
My favorite book is probably Arusha because it's about my culture and I learn more about it and it's really fun and funny and creative.
What makes it funny?
They have like little jokes inside it and they explain it in a way that makes it easier to understand and funnier like for kids.
Hello, my name is Priya Simone.
I'm in fifth grade and my favorite book is Frizzy.
I like Frizzy because it teaches me how to do hair.
Is your hair frizzy when it's not in those braids?
Yes. Why is that your favorite book?
Because it teaches me how to do my hair and it's really interesting.
What makes it interesting?
Her name is Marlin and she's the main character and her mom always wants to straighten her hair but her auntie like shows her how to make her hair curly.
