Hey, Jessica, how you doing today?
I am doing great.
We are recording this on a Monday and I had an awesome weekend.
How about you, Lindsay?
That's awesome.
Oh my god, I'm really good.
I am here in West Hollywood exploring a new part of LA.
So yeah, and the good thing about this neighborhood is that it is actually walkable.
It's very walkable.
I walked all over the place this morning to go have my coffee.
No one would ever think that about LA, but it's true.
Yeah.
This is such an important time for all of us.
You are in a transition phase.
You've moved.
You're exploring this new place.
I am moving as well in a couple weeks.
And we're also having a big opportunity for change with All Ears English.
Yes so guys, we are on here to mention a big change, a big exciting change that is coming for All Ears English, because we want you guys to come into our circle here and help us to find the right team member.
Jessica, what are we doing at All Ears English?
We are growing, you guys.
All Ears English just keeps getting better and better.
And we have so many exciting projects to do for you guys.
So we need some help.
We are hiring a new team member for All Ears English.
Exactly.
Exactly.
And we are not just hiring anyone.
As you guys know, we are close as a team and we have the right energy for this show.
And we're looking for another person that would share that energy.
So, in terms of the new team member that we want to bring in, we are looking for someone who is positive.
Yes.
Right, Jessica?
I almost said Michelle.
See how close we are?
Names don't even matter.
We're just all ears English, one, two, and three.
No, just kidding.
That's awesome.
I mean, what is it about the energy, Jessica, that comes out on this show that's important?
What do you think?
You know guys, I think okay, I know that all of you awesome, awesome fans that we love out there.
I know you guys realize how different Lindsay and Michelle and I are.
But what we all have in common is that we love English.
We love TV.
Teaching, we love learning and connection, not perfection.
And I mean, connection, not perfection is number one.
But, like Lindsay is saying, this positive energy, however that comes out in whatever quirky personal ways, as long as it comes out right.
Yes.
No, exactly, Jessica.
That is exactly true.
And, you know, because it all comes back to a vision, right?
Because when you're learning English, in the end, what's going to keep us learning guys, is believing in that deeper idea of that connection.
Yes.
I don't, to be honest, like I don't care that that much about the mechanics of language.
I care about people, right?
I don't know about you, Jessica.
We all have our interests.
But when it comes down to language, it's about communication.
Yeah.
It's about what are you trying to create in the world through your words.
For sure.
It's not about dwelling on the words.
Yeah.
You know what?
This is where it is important to have some differences among the team members because –
Although we all share this very important vision of connection not perfection for sure we want you guys to communicate, to grow in yourselves and in your life through English.
I think that is what can tie all of us together.
But you know what?
I super care about the words and the language.
I get so geeked. cheeky about like where words come from and stuff like that.
But that's true.
But that's a side note.
These are all differences in passions that we bring to complement each other.
And so that's why we're looking for like such a unique individual to further complement our team.
Yeah, that's so true.
And on the other hand, Michelle, you know, she has experience in stand-up comedy.
So she has that experience on stage as kind of a comedian.
And she brings that to the show.
So we all bring something different, and what brings us together is that we again, we do believe in that connection.
And so guys, the point, the reason we're sharing this with you today, is that there are so many of you guys out there listening and we think that you may have a teacher who You may have a friend.
You may have a neighbor.
Who knows?
You may have someone in the US who's a native speaker who would be interested in joining our team.
So we want to ask you guys to get the word out.
Right, Jessica?
Yes.
So, guys, I mean, we have a huge network of All Ears English listeners and fans out there.
And we know that there are some teachers who also listen.
So guys, if you fit the person we are describing, if you learned from someone, if you had a tutor or a language exchange partner, a person who you admire, who you remember, who impacted you because of their positive energy, then we would love to invite them to apply to become a team member.
Yes.
Yes, I love that.
I love that.
So guys, the link to send them to or the link to go to to get all the application details is allearsenglishcom.
Forward slash hire.
That's H-I-R-E.
Yes.
So go ahead and send them there.
Go there, guys, and check it out and send in the application as soon as you can.
This is so exciting.
You guys, there's gonna be a new voice on the podcast, a new face on the YouTube channel.
We are so excited to bring in some new energy.
Yeah, this is going to be awesome.
This is going to be awesome.
So guys, thanks for helping us out.
Thanks for listening today.
Jessica, thanks for hanging out.
I just can't wait to meet our ideal new team member and start podcasting.
