Today, I'm going to go over seven AI side hustles.
You can start from scratch.
These can potentially make you hundreds to thousands of dollars a day.
And I know because I've done and still do many of these myself.
I'll begin with the easiest AI side hustles and work my way up to the harder yet higher earning ones.
Starting with number one, stock footage.
Many businesses need specific photos and videos for marketing and other purposes, but lack the time, skills or resources to shoot custom footage themselves.
On platforms like Adobe Stock and Shutterstock.
People are uploading photos and videos for businesses to license, earning around 1 per download.
Now that might not seem like much, but since these downloads can bring in passive income forever, the money can really add up over time.
Here's how it works.
I'm going to use InVideo, an all-in-one AI video creation platform.
It offers top AI models like Sora 2, VO 31 and Nano Banana to create high-quality, watermark-free footage.
To generate a stock photo, I'm going to select the text-to-image tool.
And with a simple prompt I can generate a professional photo in seconds that's ready to be licensed.
Now to generate a stock video.
I can actually use that stock photo to create a clip out of it with the photo to clip tool.
I just prompt what I want to happen and it will generate a cinematic video that looks incredibly real.
It would have cost so much time and money to film this in real life.
The most licensed stock footage are those that are well shot and usable for a wide audience.
For example, a clip of a cute puppy playing in a park.
It could be used for a pet brand, a veterinary clinic, an animal shelter, or a happy commercial.
Compare that to the cute puppy doing a pop shove it on a skateboard in front of an explosion.
I'm not sure who would license that.
The more versatile the footage, the better, though it shouldn't be so generic that it doesn't stand out.
Honestly, from my experience selling, you never know what will pop off.
It's usually the clips you least expect.
At the end of the day, it's a numbers game.
The more footage you upload, the higher the chance one will be licensed.
InVideo is packed with AI tools, so much so that every AI side hustle I'll be mentioning today will only use InVideo.
I've linked it in the description.
For difficulty, I'm rating stock footage one out of five sweat drops.
You just generate, upload, and wait for the passive income to roll it.
For earning potential, I'm rating it one out of five stacks.
There's a lot of stock footage out there, which means you might have to wait for a while.
You'll need to build a large portfolio to make any decent amount of money.
Number two, custom footage.
While stock footage works for many businesses, some require custom footage featuring certain scenes, products or logos that generic stock footage can't provide.
On Fiverr, a freelance service marketplace, people are generating custom video footage for around 80 per clip.
The process is similar to generating stock footage, just with client instructions.
Within video, you can write a prompt mentioning a product and logo.
Press generate, then upload photos of the product and logo for AI to reference.
Make sure to hit the ultra option to use flagship models like Sora 2 and VO 31 for the best quality.
Hit generate again and boom, you have fully custom footage to hand off.
To make more money, you can consider upselling add-ons like voiceovers music, sound effects, subtitles or additional editing.
Crazy thing is, it doesn't take much extra work.
You can just mention them in your prompt and they'll be added.
It's that simple.
For difficulty, I'm rating custom footage two out of five sweat drops.
There can be a bit more tweaking involved compared to generating stock footage.
For earning potential, I'm rating it two out of five stacks.
You'll realize that most clients who want custom footage are also looking for fully edited videos, which can include number three music videos.
Many artists are enlisting AI to help create their music videos, from small aspiring musicians to big names like Snoop Dogg, Linkin Park and Lewis Capaldi.
On Fiverr, AI music videos are bringing in a few hundred to over a thousand dollars each, depending on its length and concept.
You can make one with InVideo by specifically prompting it to create a music video.
You can even add the song's lyrics so it understands the vibe and mood better.
Press generate and you'll get a full music video with multiple cohesions.
Here's a tip consider selling visualizers videos with minimal or looping visuals that match a track.
You can generate a couple of clips and have them loop to a song, or even generate a full music video and market it as a premium visualizer to charge more.
Not every artist may want an AI music video, but many may be open to an AI visualizer.
It's all about how you package it.
For difficulty, I'm rating music videos two out of five sweat drops.
You're essentially generating a bunch of custom footage to music.
For earning potential, I'm rating it three out of five stacks.
Number four, UGC or user generated content, is any content promoting a brand that's made by real people, instead of the brand itself.
Many businesses hire UGC creators to produce content for their marketing and paid ads because it feels more authentic and relatable than traditional advertising.
What's great about UGC is that you don't need a social media following like a typical influencer.
And with AI now, you don't even need to show your face or use your voice.
Click AI Twins on InVideo and you'll be able to pick an actor from their wide selection of UGC virtual actors.
You'll find all kinds of faces suited for different brands, products, and niches.
Once you've made your choice, you can enter a prompt with or without a script.
Hit generate and you'll get a UGC ad made to convert.
If you're into entrepreneurship and business, you need to subscribe to Jensen Tung.
I binge all his videos.
He's the man.
Hey, the AI said it, not me.
You can expect to earn around $50 per AI UGC video on Fiverr.
With businesses often buying multiple videos at once, earnings can easily multiply per client.
You can also upsell AI generated B-roll shots of the product, script writing, and usage rights.
If you really want to make money with AI UGC, consider turning yourself into an AI actor.
On NVIDIA, you can upload a video of yourself speaking and it will create an AI avatar of you with your face and voice.
To generate videos with.
Hey, I'm Jensen's chill AI avatar.
What you are seeing and hearing is completely AI.
With your own AI avatar, you can stand out from all the other AI faces and voices out there.
The better the footage you input, the better the results.
For difficulty, I'm rating UGC three out of five sweat drops.
You'll need to know how to write and edit effective ads if you want to be hired consistently.
For earning potential, I'm rating it three out of five stacks.
Number five, business videos.
On the opposite end of UGC are polished business videos like professional paid ads explainers, training videos and social media content.
I've personally made hundreds of these as a freelancer and earned tens of thousands of dollars doing so.
Now with AI, you can produce them without ever touching a camera or microphone.
InVideo offers a variety of workflows for all types of business videos, from short ads to TikTok shop videos to brand stories.
With a single prompt you can generate a fully scripted business video with cinematic visuals and audio that can arguably rival a real video shoot.
You can offer your services on Fiverr, where revenue can range from hundreds to thousands of dollars per video, based on its length.
Another approach is to reach out directly to businesses.
I suggest starting with local trades and services like plumbers, roofers, and HVAC companies.
These businesses not only need video help, but they also don't have a specific product to feature, which makes generating footage and your job much easier.
That said, prepare to generate all kinds of custom footage, because business video requests can be all over the place.
Be ready to do some video editing as well, since businesses often want logos, lower thirds, call to actions and other clips added in.
For difficulty, I'm rating business videos four out of five sweat drops.
For earning potential, I'm rating it four out of five stacks.
Number six, affiliate marketing.
If you don't want to rely on businesses to hire you, you can hire yourself to promote products or services using affiliate links.
For each signup or purchase made through the links, you'll earn a commission.
The amount varies by business.
Some affiliate programs pay one to $10 per conversion.
Some pay a hundred to a thousand dollars.
I've personally made tens of thousands of dollars sharing affiliate links over the years.
There are several ways to promote affiliate links, paid ads, blog posts, websites and especially social media.
I list mine in my YouTube video description, while many others share theirs on Pinterest, Instagram and TikTok.
Using the same AI video generation processes we covered earlier, you can create social media accounts to post videos and ads that drive traffic to your affiliate links, pump out a large volume and you're bound to get some conversions.
The secret to making money with affiliate marketing is to focus on high commission niches.
These include finance, business, software, personal development, and health and wellness.
These niches pay the most per signup or sale, letting you earn more with fewer clicks.
Work smarter, not harder.
For difficulty, I'm rating affiliate marketing four out of five sweat drops.
Admittedly, it requires quite a bit of work with no guarantee of making any money.
For earning potential, I'm rating it four out of five stacks.
If you can drive clicks and conversions, the passive income will come pouring in.
Number seven, influencer.
It's nothing new that being an influencer can reel in a lot of money.
What is new is that more and more of those influencers are actually AI.
Even I made a YouTube channel using only AI. you can check it out here.
There are two approaches to creating your own AI influencer.
The first approach is to create one that is purely AI generated.
This means an AI generated face which you can use UGC virtual actors to create, or no face at all AKA faceless which is very popular right now.
There are workflows on InVideo to quickly generate entire faceless videos from listicles to explainers, to educational content.
You can also generate animated videos in various styles, which are great for kids, as well as realistic short films and documentaries.
And of course, you can always just prompt from scratch.
The second approach to creating an AI influencer is for you to be the influencer through your AI avatar.
You can easily generate talking head videos of yourself for news explainer, commentary and educational videos.
Compared to being faceless.
Using your AI avatar gives you the advantage of building a personal brand around yourself.
Showing a real face on social media can boost your credibility with your audience, attract more sponsorships and unlock real world opportunities.
It's not for everyone, but it's something to consider.
For difficulty, I'm rating influencing 5 out of 5 sweat drops.
I'm not going to sugarcoat it.
It is hard.
For earning potential, I'm rating it 5 out of 5 stacks.
Figure it out and you're in for a big payday.
And there are your side hustles.
Shout out to InVideo for sponsoring this video.
Try it for free using the link in the description.
But if you're serious about AI video creation, I recommend the Generative plan that starts at 100 a month.
It's the one I have and we'll give you enough credits to make multiple videos and access Sora 2 and VO 31's capabilities.
Otherwise, subscribe to see more and peace out.
