Good morning and welcome to KID News. I'm Kim.
Today is Thursday, August 28th, 2025. And we begin with SpaceX finally getting Starship back on track.
The giant rocket designed to one day go to Mars splashed down in the Indian Ocean as planned Tuesday night after coasting through space for little over an hour.
The critical test flight was the 10th for Starship, but came after a year of mishaps with the last three demos ending in explosions after liftoff.
According to the New York Times, this flight was unmanned but successfully deployed eight dummy satellites and included the return of the craft's super-heavy booster.
SpaceX and NASA are counting on Starship to put astronauts back on the moon and someday beyond.

Some suspect it came shortly after her record setting appearance on his New Heights podcast.

That post rocked the Internet and Professor Matthew Pittman at the University of Tennessee, who was mid-lecture when he announced.
Taylor and Travis just got engaged. Due to this information, I can't focus.
You all can't focus. Class is canceled. Get out of here.

It was starting to rain when Australian postal worker Gurpreet Singh was caught on a homeowner's security camera taking her laundry off a clothesline and putting it under cover.
This is one in a million, Brisbane resident Verity Wandel said.
I thought I was coming home to find my wash soaking wet, but no.
Wandel posted on social media and Singh's thoughtful act went viral, gaining attention as far away as India, where, according to CNN, he was dubbed a laundry hero.
Singh says he was baffled by all the attention as his act of kindness only took one minute.
