I'm Tory today is Tuesday April 8th 2025 and we begin with a student from England taking on a major department store Georgia from the town of Ipswich was none too happy with a chain called Sainsbury's when she couldn't find girls school pants with real pockets.
As she told the BBC, they just had fake ones.
And then we went to the boys section and they had pockets, and I thought it was unfair.
So I bought boys trousers, but that's not all she did.
She wrote to the store, the response from a Sainsbury's representative, I'm sorry, currently girls school trousers do not have pockets.
I agree, they should.
Georgia followed up with a petition and convinced 56 classmates to sign it.
Sainsbury's did not reply to her petition, But, Georgia says when she returned to the store this year, the girls' pants sported pockets.
Sainsbury's won't confirm whether Georgia's actions influenced its decision, but Georgia is taking it as a win.
And so are we. Well done, Georgia.

A pair of elderly and endangered Galapagos turtles at the Philadelphia Zoo have welcomed four hatchlings.
The birth is a major accomplishment for the zoo and considered critical for the future of the species.
For now, the quartet is being kept behind the scenes inside the reptile and amphibian house, but a public debut is in the works for April 23, as is a naming contest. It's a four -legged robot you can ride like a horse.
Japanese motorcycle company Kawasaki has taken the wraps off Corleo, which is powered by hydrogen and designed to operate on rough terrain.
The machine walks on four independent robotic legs, allowing it to move with balance and stability across a wide range of surfaces.
It has a control panel similar to the gauges and screens in a car, but it responds to the rider's movements and center of gravity, like a horse does.
This hybrid form of transportation was recently unveiled at the Osaka Kansai Expo preview.
No word so far on if or when it will become available to buy or what kind of range it has.
While movie openings have been generally soft lately, a Minecraft movie, based on the famous video game, set records at the box office this weekend.
Despite less than stellar reviews, the film grossed an astonishing $160 million, giving it the best box office debut of the year and the best ever for a video game movie.
The film stars Jack Black and Jason Momoa and was projected to take in between $70 million and $80 million but boy were they wrong about that.
At the International Box Office it added another $144 million for a global start of over $301 million dollars.
Every July there's a famous event in Spain called the Running of the Bulls where brave people run in front of a bunch of charging bulls during a summer festival in the town of Pamplona.
Not to be outdone, folks in Anchorage, Alaska have created their own event the Running of the Reindeer, which has been a thing since 2008.
It takes place in March and involves four groups of runners each with its own herd of reindeer, racing the swift animals.
This year nearly 1 ,500 runners tried to outpace 24 reindeer as they raced three and a half blocks down Anchorage's 4th Avenue.
Not surprisingly, the reindeer won.
The event is a fundraiser for the charity Toys for Tots.

By now, there's a new national champion in the world of men's college basketball, and no doubt there was plenty of trash talking during the game, but one player, no one ever dared to rile up on the hardwood, the late, great Kobe Bryant, who went straight from high school to the pros, former rival retired power forward Kenyon Martin told the basketball network on Sunday that poking the bear was a bad idea because if someone did, Bryant would take himself to a new level and tap into a powerful combination of athleticism, offensive IQ, and skill to demolish his opponents.
He says because of Kobe's fearsome abilities, no one could get under Kobe's skin to negatively affect his game, and he was given a lot of respectful space.
