Hello.
Welcome back to my slow English podcast, a podcast for you to practice your English listening skills.
Howdy, howdy, ho, and welcome to Fantasy Fan Fellas.
I'm Hayden, producer of the Fantasy Fangirls podcast and your resident lover of all things, Sanderson.
And I'm Stephen, your bookish internet goofball, but you can call me the Smash Daddy.
And we are currently deep diving Brandon Sanderson's fantasy epic, Mistborn.
But here's the catch.
Stephen here has not read Mistborn before.
That's right, hey, hey.
So each week, you'll get my unfiltered, raw reactions to every single chapter.
And along the way we'll do character deep dives, magic explainers, and Stephen will even try to guess what's next.
Spoiler alert, he'll be wrong.
Newsflash, I'm never wrong.
Episodes come out every Wednesday and you can find Fantasy Fan Fellows wherever you get your podcasts.
Today, I want to tell you a story about the bus.
The other day, I was on the bus.
My friend and I had to get home.
So we waited for the bus to come for maybe 10 minutes until finally it arrived.
But it was so packed, full of people, like sardines.
The driver stopped and told us to get in.
But we said, no, we don't fit.
We'll take the next one.
So the driver moved on and we waited another 10 minutes.
But at that point, we had already waited 20 minutes.
I wasn't waiting any longer.
So we got on the bus and we fit just right.
But the driver was driving like a maniac.
I had to hold on so tight so that I wouldn't fall or trip.
I could barely hold on.
Then the driver stopped one more time to pick up a family.
It was a mother and her two young boys.
They were very short, so the two boys could not hold on to any of the handles.
So they were going side to side, falling and tripping.
I told one of the boys, hold on to me.
And one older lady said the same.
One older lady told the boys, hold on to me.
Hold on to my sweater.
So the boy did.
He grabbed the lady and held her tight.
And he didn't fall anymore.
It was a very nice scene.
It was a very cute experience.
We all rode like sardines the whole way home.
And once we finally arrived, we all said goodbye.
Nice to meet you.
And it was a very nice experience.
I always have nice experiences on the bus.
I love the beautiful people I can meet every day in my normal day to day life.
I love seeing kind actions and really appreciating all the kind people I meet throughout my days.
