it is Tuesday, March 4th, but the original podcast that I created for today's expression comes from July 4th, which is America's birthday.
So we're, what is it, July, March, we're four months ahead of schedule, but enjoy the excellent expression anyway.
Let's go back it mean time.
today's expression is perfect it is hoopla hoopla h -o -o -p -l -a now we usually use this word like this what's all the hoopla what is all the hoopla hoopla means excitement noise make it Craziness.
Chaos. That's the idea.
And right now, if you – oh, I wish you could hear it.
But there's lots of explosions, lots of noises, lots of whistles outside.
So if you did not know it was the 4th of July, you would say, what's all the hoopla?

and this professor was he didn't know that this guy is also a professor so do you understand so professor dick is probably an old professor and this other guy he's a new professor but professor dick did not know that he was a new professor so he was probably speaking to him like a student and professors
have lots of pride they do not like they do not like to be talked to as a student so he's really angry so the other guy said oh he probably didn't know you were a teacher don't worry i'll go talk to professor dick and straighten this out i will straighten out this misunderstanding.
I will straighten out this confusion.
I will clear up the problem.
I will solve the problem.
Do you understand? To straighten someone out.
To straighten something out.
To organize something.
To make something better.
To clear up a misunderstanding.
To educate someone so that they're proper?
That's the idea. It's a very flexible, phrasal verb.
