What is today's expression?
Let's go back in time.
Today's expression, everybody, is a noun.
A pushover. P -U -S -H -O -V -E -R.
It's one word, a pushover.
That guy is a pushover.
He is a pushover. She is a pushover.
Are you a pushover?
Me, I am not a pushover.
For some people. Maybe for some people.
For my cats, I'm a pushover.
For a kitty, I'm a pushover.
What is a pushover?
Well, it's a type of person who is very easily influenced, who is very weak in front of somebody strong or somebody important.
So for me, when I see a puppy dog, a baby dog or a baby cat, usually, you know, I'm a tough guy.
you know i'm tough but when i see a baby dog oh i'm a pushover hi even my voice sounds like a little girl's voice hi how are you oh you're so cute um normally i sound like this but yeah in front of a dog a baby dog a kitten i'm a pushover i'm a total pushover In front of a woman, get out of my way.
In front of a guy, get out of my way.
In front of President Obama, you mean nothing to me.
In front of a, who, who, who?
Is there a human out there who scares me?
Maybe my girlfriend.
Damn, boy, she's scary.
Yeah, I'm a pushover in front of her, that's for sure.
My mom, yeah, I'm a pushover.
A little. My dad? Not at all.
I remain strong. I remain tough.
The idea of a pushover, it's not a bad thing, but if you're a pushover to everybody, that's terrible.
Let's check out a dialogue.
Boss, can I go home early tonight?
No. I need everyone here until we finish.
Mr. Havencroft, could I leave early?
I want to buy a dress.
Oh, Miss Tisdale, of course you can.
Buy a pretty dress, okay?
Havencroft, such a pushover when it comes to women.
Yep, that's true. I think there's a lot of guys, a lot of bosses, Who are pushovers when it comes to women.
Come on, guys. The only woman you should be a pushover to is your mother and your wife or your girlfriend.
If you have a wife and a girlfriend, that's a problem.
You should be a pushover to your wife and your mom.
Maybe your daughters, if you have daughters.
That might be okay.
But no other woman out there.
And to another guy, don't be a pushover to another guy.
Maybe your dad a little.
Maybe your boss a little.
And if you're in the military, you have to listen to your boss.
Yeah. Well, be honest, everybody.
Are you a pushover?
And once again, some people are a pushover to everybody.
They do whatever anybody says.
But not me. I'm strong.
I'm damn strong. So tell me everybody, who are you a pushover to?
Be honest. Be honest.
