Hello everybody, my name is Coach Shane and welcome to Easy English Expressions.
Come on, let's master English.
Hello everybody, welcome back to Daily Easy English Expression, the podcast number 1148.
Long time no see.
It's been six months since I have been able to update the E-Cubed podcast.
People are asking, what's wrong?
What's going on?
It's a very long story, but we did have some serious problems and everything is fixed now.
So I'm super excited to be back.
I have missed you.
Thank you so much.
Do you guys are you aware?
I do have another podcast.
It's a different name.
So you have to look it up.
It's called Let's Master English.
Let's Master English.
And if you listen to the Let's Master English podcast, it's great for two reasons.
Number one.
Tuesday through Sunday, you get to hear old E-Cubed podcasts.
But every Monday, we publish...
What's like an English magazine?
It's an English audio magazine where we have news and we have speaking challenges and tips about learning English.
It's really a great podcast.
So you're listening to my podcast now?
Where?
Okay.
Also, look for Let's Master English, and you should be able to find it and check that out too.
But anyway, eCubed is back.
I'm so happy.
Today's expression, in no time.
Perfect for this situation.
In no time.
Beautiful English.
Beautiful daily English.
So you guys have probably been thinking, where is Coach Shane's podcast?
Why doesn't he update a podcast?
Is he alive?
What's going on?
And if you had asked me, I would have told you, oh, I will update the podcast in no time.
I will update it in no time.
What does it mean, in no time?
It means quickly, but why?
Check out the dialogue.
Ugh, it's so hot.
Don't worry.
It'll be winter in no time.
In no time?
It won't be winter until December.
December will be here before you know it.
Yeah, right now it's July, right?
We just cranked into July.
I'm publishing this on July 3rd, 2025.
And my goodness, I hear Europe is baking, Asia is baking.
For me today, it's actually kind of cool, very, very cool.
But we got like 32 degrees coming next week.
Oh, man, it's so hot.
Oh, UGH.
Oh, it's so hot.
Don't worry, the guy says, it will be winter in no time.
There's the expression in no time, and it means soon, but wait a minute.
The next guy says in no time.
In other words, what do you mean?
It won't be winter until December.
We've got six months.
We've got five months.
What is it, July?
We've got August, September.
Come on.
It's a long time.
And the guy says, December will be here before you know it.
Before you...
Snap your fingers before you blink your eyes.
You will be surprised at how fast December arrives.
Yes, I know it's 180 days, but those 180 days will go very, very quickly.
It will be here in no time.
It will be here instantly when it arrives.
It will seem like yesterday was summer.
I have two little boys.
Jimmy is five and mikey is seven.
Oh my god, it was like yesterday they were babies and today they're big boys.
And the scary thing is, in no time they'll be teenagers.
Now, obviously I have to wait six seven eight, nine years.
But when that day arrives, when I look at my boys and Mikey's 15 and Jimmy's 13 I'm going to say, oh my God.
It seems like yesterday they were five and seven.
And now today...
They're 13 and 15 in no time.
No time.
There was no.
It's like, boom, suddenly, all of a sudden, in no time.
It's a great expression unless you're talking about your children.
Then it's really sad because I want my boys to stay little boys.
I like them as little boys.
I'm afraid of them getting too big.
Seriously.
Seriously. in no time.
You guys know how old I am?
I'm not that young.
But I swear to you guys, I'm getting fat too.
But if I think about something like when I was younger and I was an athlete and I would run and ride my bike, I was in races.
It seems like yesterday.
In no time, I got old and fat and bald.
It's a great expression.
In no time could be 10 seconds.
It could be 10 minutes.
It could be 10 days.
It could be 10 months.
The point of the expression in no time means.
When that time arrives, it will feel like yesterday was today.
It'll feel like the change or the arrival was instant.
I hope that makes sense.
Yeah, it's a great expression.
It is so nice to be back with EQ.
Thank you, guys.
I don't know who's listening this long.
This is like really, really long.
But I really appreciate it.
So I have a question.
If you could answer me, that would be so cool. please send an email to answer my question.
Email address is really easy.
Contact, C-O-N-T-A-C-T.
Contact at letsmasterenglish.com.
And my question is, How often do you want me to update this podcast?
It's called Daily Easy English Expression.
Do you want one every day?
Like three times a week?
Five times a week?
Seven days a week?
Let me know, okay?
Because I don't want to overburden everybody with a million podcasts.
But we are so ready to be back into this, and I'm really excited.
So I hope to hear from you.
You know, if 10 people listen to the podcast, maybe one person sends an email.
So I hope that person is you.
And just say, hey, hi, Coach Shane.
Nice to see you.
Three times a week is great.
Five times a week.
It's great.
Ten times a week is too much.
And again, everybody, thank you so much.
Check out the dialogue two more times.
And together, let's master English.
It's so hot.
Don't worry.
It'll be winter in no time.
In no time?
It won't be winter until December.
December will be here before you know it.
Ugh, it's so hot.
Don't worry.
It'll be winter in no time.
